a year ago today I had a freak accident and was hospitalized for 21 days. my lung collapsed and wouldn’t come up, and I ended up having surgery. I feel insanely grateful to be alive, to be able to hangout with ppl, and do all the small things I took for granted :,)

soft reminder that you are not responsible for how others project their insecurities onto you. You are not their parental figure. You are not their therapist. Don’t personalize it. All you can do is be kind. how they project is not on you.

Gentle reminder tht often when ppl treat you poorly, it is a reflection of their own insecurities, rather than anything you did to warrant their behavior. Don’t internalize their projections! Focus on your own growth, hope they focus on theirs.
