It's far easier to clone a DeFi project than it is an NFT one. Cloning code (and even art) is trivial, but what's truly hard is to re-create a deep and well established community. Social layer > chain layer.

@TO You can do both on both. Plenty of ETH NFTs have on-chain only storage and plenty of BTC Inscriptions will just have a url. Producing high-end 1/1 art? Yeah inscribe it fully on BTC. Need a composable access token to an NFT gated event? Go with ETH.
