Today is of course 30 years since John Chaney and John Calipari’s famous postgame altercation. But the pair became good friends after the incident and Calipari eulogized Chaney at his funeral in 2021. (1/2)

Also of note, I’m pretty sure Eddie Jones is the only player from Temple or the Big 5 to ever have their own signature shoe series. He was one of the first players to embrace Jordan Brand in the 90s.
