@RwoltX This is very true. Coding bootcamps deliver a false promise that it can teach you skills to get an entry level job. At best they unlock a starting point into the developer journey. Your best bet rn is to build your ideas and learn. Keep at it, and don’t stop. You will get there.

@trevcleveland @amandanat The point is only valid if you make it from CC to a 4 year college. Unfortunately, only 14% do. She is right, CC to 4 year doesn't mean much difference in income potential and less student loans, but "most" fail on this path. That is why I think this is bad advice.

@paulg I have been mentoring a ton of people in helping them find their path into becoming a competent coder. My filter to take on a mentee is to have them complete an online course that I pay for. Very, very few have completed that. Everyone who has now has more than 100K+ job.

@lolitataub I dont think this is browser related. Web has converted into full desktop apps now. If you have 30 tabs open, it is similar to running 30 apps. Regardless of the browser you run, if you need these apps (sheets, figma, airtable, etc), you will be slow. @MightyApp is only hope.
