My Great Grandmother was diagnosed with post natal depression (after giving birth to her 6th Child/My Granddad) she was ‘put’ into an asylum and never came out.
As most of the summer flower start to fade, if you can and your neighbours don’t mind, let the Ivy grow. It provides essential, early and late summer pollen and nectar. It will be full of pollinators all the way into winter.
