A year ago today I was on my way home from work, going home to celebrate my sisters 23rd Birthday with my family. When going over the bridge close to mine, I saw a guy on the wrong side of the bridge looking like he was going to jump. I got out the car and went to speak to him /1
It costs nothing to reach out to people and check in on them. It can go so far when people feel so vulnerable. There’s help out there, some people just need the right guidance. To the gent who was there that day, I hope you’re living your life and your demons have been beaten ❤️
I put my arm around his belt buckle and along with the officer who was there to assist, helped pull him back over from the wrong side of the bridge and he was taken away in an ambulance. The moral of the story, you never know what battle someone is fighting, always be kind /4
As I approached him I knew something wasn’t right and I dialled 999. I spent the next 2hours speaking to the guy about football, life, anything to take his mind off it. We spoke about all sorts and he just kept reiterating that he felt like he’d failed himself and his family /2
This was heartbreaking to hear and there was no chance I was going home to my family and living my life as normal, knowing someone is fighting such demons in there own head. After around 2hours of talking, I lent out to offer my hand and asked him to trust me /3

No amount of motivational books, quotes, or videos will change your life unless you take action on it yourself.
Nothing will ever change in your life by obsessing over someone else's highlight reel.
At 19 I purchased my first home to renovate.
With no prior experience.
After one viewing and a quick run through of the calculations with my brother, we made an offer.
A bit of back and forth with the estate agent followed...
Then eventually it was accepted.

Crazy that a post about AI got:
- 100s of people wishing death
- The ex-CEO of OpenAI reposting
- Even Google themselves ‘responding’
People need to know that words like "steal" and "heist" are intentionally used to be inflammatory. I guess it worked 😆
Only way to improve is to learn.
Starting somewhere is better than not starting at all.
The lessons were invaluable.
What experiences have you had that led you to where you are today?
Money going out and nothing coming in.
But.
After 9months of hard 'graft' we finally got it completed.
The most satisfying feeling. All the hard work was worth it.
What it taught me?
Perseverance is key, even when things are not going your way - don't quit.
No experience?
Why creating a blog for 3 months will teach you more about SEO than:
3 year marketing degree
3 months consuming Youtube videos
3 hours a day scrolling through Instagram
All you need to do is:
- Study
- Practice
- Test
- Iterate
Learn by doing. It really is that simple.
I still remember the first day we got the keys...
We worked till 3am, tearing out the carpets and wallpaper.
On the drive home, we looked at each other and thought WTF are we doing...
There was days when it felt like it was never going to be completed.
This website got to 200K/mo SEO traffic with AI content...
But then lost 25% of this traffic in 4 days.
Over 3 months, they recovered the traffic and are now getting 650K/mo.
Here’s how:
