I think normal LinkedIn could learn from creator Twitter. It's full of people bragging about accomplishments, with none of them trying to help others do the same. If you follow a creator who succeeds at something, you start the clock until they offer to get you there too.

1. Creators are often concerned about the effect on their brand of coming across as "sales-ey" when selling courses or services. But success stories are successes for a reason. The principles behind sales and successful copy are universally applicable. Learn them - then build.

For reference, @AliAbdaal ’s channel has over 4.5 million subscribers - but we’ve only ever had >4,000 customers for PTYA products since we launched PTYA three years ago. That’s a 0.09% conversion rate from our total audience (minus a fair bit of nuance here)

The most common step I take with creators I work with feels like a step backwards at first; validating the need for a product/service within the creator's audience. It's more exciting to forecast conversions and plan hype launches, but we need to know your product will sell 🚀

Surprise yourself with rewards. Not every win needs to be a big one. Teach yourself that your new normal is casual wins at random moments. Understand that losses are inevitable, and in the grand balance sheet of wins v losses you're just hoping for a gradual trend upwards

A lot of creators decide they want to launch a product, course or a service based on what they THINK their audience wants. This isn't actual product/market fit. Sales come from solving a problem your audience has. Lots of sales? Solving a problem you're uniquely placed to solve.

@SaundersMusic Yes sir! We moved all of our offers over to Kajabi maybe 6 months ago and haven't looked back since. Still need to explore a few more of the features, we very much lifted and shifted our previous model over to the platform when we moved but we'll get there

@AlokailyHassan @jamierawsthorne So we've parsed through the diversified audience to find the right fit for the specific audience for our high-ticket stuff. Yes Theory in this case could maybe have done exactly the same, but instead shipped the offer to their entire audience, who weren't primed at all
