Throwing some anthropocene in your face. Always good reminder that last time we had this CO2 concentration levels was 3M yrs. ago (Pliocene). Seas were 50ft higher. On the uptick though, the earth still carried life during those times.

Big news! South Korea 🇰🇷 just announced an end to its intl coal financing at #LeadersClimateSummit . This is a major shift. Historically, Korea has been a leading financier of coal overseas, alongside 🇯🇵&🇨🇳. This will greatly accelerate the end of new coal globally @PastCoal

Carbon Math: The costs of delay are staggering.If we had started global decarbonization in 2000, we would have had to progress at a rate of 3% per year. If we start today, it is 10% per year (really tough). If we delay ten more years, it is 30% per year! This math is inexorable.
