My brother who is in first grade is learning from home and I've really enjoyed being part of his intellectual growth. Teaching him how to read and write has been super special. Sometimes my patience is really tested but seeing his progress? Totally worth it

In a weird way working hard is so good for my mental. When I unwind, it doesn’t feel like I’m stealing from myself. I genuinely lean into rest when I’ve been working hard. I think discipline in general just makes everything worthwhile. Even the pockets of ‘chosen indiscipline’.
