There are so many things to do for free with your children in Joburg. Public pools now that it’s hot, public parks and art galleries all get you out of the house to play learn and socialize.
Do you remember watching TV in the 90s and a show would play in Afrikaans and if you wanted to listen to it in English you’d have to switch on the Radio, turn the TV volume down and hear English version through the radio? (Radio 2000 I think)

There was never R500 billion cash waiting to be spent. The President announced R500 billion in relief. About R95 billion of that is going to come from loans. R200 billion is loan guarantees and about R130 billion is reprioritisation of money we had budgeted for other things.
Drivers and warehouse workers at Shoprite, Checkers, U-Save and Hungry Lion are said to be paid R400 a week. Members of the National Transport Movement have threatened to go on a strike, that could shut down all the stores.

Lawyers say the commission exonerated politicians and Lonmin executives played a role in the deployment and shooting of workers by police in August 2012.
