@KILLTOPARTY
I wonder if this woman would agree to a prenup that said that SHE would have to pay him a comparable percentage if she was the cheater. It would be totally fair. You can't use money as a penalty against a cheater if it doesn't also apply to the less wealthy partner.
@thatbloodyMikey
Yep. We see the same popularity amongst the Israelis as they demand that their soldiers be allowed to rape civilians without accountability
@MorePerfectUS
Yeah I don't listen to trash like this. I've hired people who worked from home and I'm sure they didn't work literally the whole time, but neither do I. I take long walks and I procrastinate. But I still work way faster than normal for a programmer
@StephenKing
Um... she's right. If everyone owns an electric vehicle the electric grid won't be able to keep up with the demand and anybody who knows basic economics 101 knows that this leads to higher prices for energy. Also, the government will use taxes to force people to sell gas cars
@TyphinaRex
Isn't it obvious? Placing the store at the airport is a strategy: they get to lower the price by having the items be duty-free but they don't cheapen their brand since this is not perceived by the wealthy patron as a regular discount.
@RnaudBertrand
The funny thing, is that even with a 100% tariff, BYD could still sell a cheaper, better quality car than Tesla in the US. I think they got the base price down to $10k. So with a 100% tariff, that's still only $20k
@lvamsgatthebeep
If the relationship had been working, then this could be viewed as playful. But when a relationship is already falling apart, this looks more like a passive aggressive way to avoid fixing the problems. And treating the wife's complaints as a joke.
@timecaptales
@historyinmemes
You didn't explain how you went from "$15 billion in modern terms" to "100 billion in sports terms". Also, there is no reliable way to convert ancient currency into modern terms. Which means that all of your comparisons are just made up. They're 99% subjective.
@vikhyatk
If you talk to enough senior developers and ask the right questions, you find that this is not an accident. We live in a society where people climb up and then pull the ladder up after them. They pretend to create openness and then fill it with obfuscation
@mmjukic
Maybe that's true but who would you rather demonstrate their military power? The country that is committing war crimes as a national pastime and funneling trillions of dollars into permanent wars, or the country that hasn't been in any wars in decades?
@historyinmemes
This is ignorant. There is very little innovation in the Tesla robots, and China is currently more advanced than America in most technologies
@AnneMarieBea17
I agree! I'm so sick of hearing this argument because it implies that if I drink beer I am giving consent for my liver to process the alcohol. I demand that it be a human right for the alcohol to be manually removed from my bloodstream at public expense! My liver my choice
@pearlythingz
I'm not making accusations against the father, but polygraph tests are pseudoscience. This is irresponsible for a psychologist to be pretending that this proves anything in either direction.
@InternetH0F
I disagree with this. The real problem with the education system is that we live in a world that has changed so that we don't write algebra this way in most jobs. This form of syntax is essentially irrelevant in our society. We should be teaching it in programming syntax
@CarlZha
Yeah that article is ridiculous. Using words like "elbow" to create the impression that China is being aggressive when its the west that is being aggressive
@ywomendeservles
Yeah and I want all the KFC I sold (back when I worked there while I was in high school ) to be un-eaten so I can give those customers something healthier, but its not going to happen. What's done is done
@WallStreetSilv
No. Her requirements are not high at all. She didn't ask for the guy to be rich or to be 6 foot. She just wants an interesting personality and not to just be obsessed with sex. This is good.
@fasc1nate
I think Laurie is the most legit investor on the show. And one of the few who made her money by actually creating great products instead of by tricking people into buying worthless companies.
@thechosenberg
I don't see a problem with this. The wife benefits from an improved income, household and relationship. Plenty of women try to influence their partners in ways that are not appreciated by the guy and it leads to fights, but this couple has found a way to be happy.
@historyinmemes
I have never heard anybody give any Sopranos character anything but praise, even if the character is hated like Ralph. None of them were "underated"
@BasedPatriotX
@PopBase
Yes it does. The studio doesn't believe that the film has anything else going for it that would generate ticket sales. No other big names are attached to it or want to be attached to it. So it makes more sense to cancel the project than to spend tens of millions more on marketing
@EminentTrades
@jakeshieldsajj
Diddy has gotten away with several shootings and murders. And we saw the video of his violence against Cassie. So, when Usher was put in the hospital by Diddy, and is probably afraid for his life, I have sympathy.
@MulhollandL0ver
@DailyLoud
To be fair though, men would be just as attracted to her if she was not a criminal. But there are women who write love letters to a serial killer AFTER he is arrested and convicted, and would probably call him creepy and gross before he was caught by police.
@Glinner
This is the new version of "stolen valor", Young adults watch videos of Martin Luther King and all his struggles and then they do a live-action-role-play, pretending to fight against an oppressor so that they don't experience the risks or negative consequences MLK faced
@HowtoADHD
When the activities of mine that used to be seen as by others as an "obsession" or "distraction" start to become spoken of with respect by others
@realsteelmuslim
Because getting to management or executive level is not about skills, knowledge or talent. Its about using Machiavellian tactics to form alliances, and taking credit for other people's hard work
@OrwellNGoode
Nah man. Education has changed. Older subjects like mechanical engineering has engineers coming out of college with competency at graduation. Newer subjects like tech produce people who are only competent after they have 5 years work experience. College is a scam.
@Ambar_SIFF_MRA
Yeah, if this society wants to lump all men into one basket as abusers, and weaponise the justice system against men, and give light prison-sentences or easy bail conditions to the real abusers... then the good men will sit on the sidelines. It just makes sense.
@WomenBeingAwful
If you have to use manipulation to get someone to appreciate you, it either means you are dating awful people or you are the awful person. Or both.
@twiznizzlenore
@NoCapFights
Nah. People are misinterpreting the situation. She was upset because he was being super aggressive when its supposed to be a date. He was demonstrating what kind of relationship it would become, with her being the victim of narcissistic abuse
@YouWillBeErased
@Web3Cheffa
@Dexerto
I've just now spoken to someone who has worked at a large supermarket chain for many years and (while they insisted I not use any specific names) they said that they've never heard of a policy banning this sort of thing. They think its just a grey area.
@JackNapierKnows
This question is a paradox. How can anyone be rewriting it if they get to hold onto all of those memories? That means that you're not losing anything.
@gunsnrosesgirl3
This doesn't make me feel good about eating sun-dried tomatoes. Is this a common to do this in the open air, where flies can just land on there with dog poop on their feet?
@KILLTOPARTY
Anybody who will punish themselves for the rest of their life for a violation like this probably was an awful wife to be with. She probably drove him away with similar malice but on a smaller scale, and blackmailed him into staying in the marriage
@gunsnrosesgirl3
I think it would smarter to teach problem solving skills first, which is intellectual. When a person possesses intellectual skills it is easier to master the emotional independence without risk of mental breakdowns
@mcb31124
@TimesAlgebraIND
If you have two similar looking iconic images: one that everyone knows and the other that nobody knows, you KNOW that people will only have one of those come to their mind. Every artist knows this when doing their craft. This was malicious
@IncelsCo
I watched a show on Netflix about a woman not too dissimilar to this. He victimized her for years until the point where she snapped and got convicted of first degree murder.
@Shpeko08
@thatbloodyMikey
I never said they weren't arrested. I was pointing out that the military-run prison was overrun with local citizens demanding that the trial be stopped and that the rapes be allowed to continue.
@blesskatty
@historyinmemes
If one person's polite actions affect everybody else's mood then its everybody else who needs to loosen up and enjoy the show. People have different reasons for sitting down. And some people (like me) just have a inability to experience happiness from impersonal events
@JohnStilos
@jakeshieldsajj
Diddy is a literal murderer who is known to shoot people when he gets angry. So, I think you should give people the benefit of the doubt. You don't know what happened
@Roli52231
@AnarchoAdmech
Did you know that Adam Smith the literal father of capitalism, wrote in his famous book "The Wealth of Nations" that sometimes government intervention is essential in order to deal with problems caused by abuses of the free market?
@gunsnrosesgirl3
I swear I’ve seen and responded to this exact tweet before. Do the big Twitter accounts just repeat the same content every 3 months or something?
@WomenBeingAwful
If I was with someone and she politely and sincerely told me I was taking her for granted, I'm going to set aside some time to think about where I've gone wrong and how I can do better. But if she uses this strategy, rather than communicate, she can pack her stuff and leave.
@SWorld60922
@thatbloodyMikey
Look bro, you can choose to say that the person who is sarcastically saying "herl hitler" to accuse others of being Hitler is actually Hitler, if you want. But its a childish tactic "I know you are. But what am I?" was a popular game when I was a kid.
Also, I wouldn't be
@Zeredek
@mmjukic
Oh ok. What's good about them? Is it the terrorism funded by the CIA that you like? Or sending Ukrainians to die by the hundreds of thousands? Or killing millions of innocent black and brown people over the past 20 years? Which of these things is most "good" to you?
@WomenBeingAwful
When a pop singer talks I don't think about their words like they're having an honest conversation. Billie Eillish is playing a character so I think about her words the same way I do any fictional character on TV or in a film
@WhereOneHasGone
@vikhyatk
Stop lying. Half the Github projects are filled with logical leaps. The readme file pretends to inform you about the project but then also expects you to already know a tonne of stuff about it. Like how to use it, how to install, what are requirements, whats the purpose
@stalman
Nah. It is hugely overrated. I had to turn off the AI features because sometimes I am in a meeting on Zoom or whatever and then one ear phone might slip out accidentally, which triggers all sorts of automatic responses in my software that effectively cut off all audio. Mediocre
@Lucas_Gage_
Its probably because of the crazy contrast between evil and beauty on the screen at the same time. Like, as appalling as the Nazis were, they definitely understood how to make their propaganda, iconography and unforms look visually beautiful.
@KILLTOPARTY
So what. My grandfather did something similar in like his 60's or 70's. You just gotta let people live. Why waste life hating your loved ones just because they found happiness?
@KILLTOPARTY
When you're in a marriage you shouldn't have an attitude of "if the reddit community says I can do it, then who gives a crap what my partner wants." People in a relationship need to work things out and find compromises regardless if they have a right to do what they want.
@Sky_waIker01
@cctvidiots
Enthusiasm is nice I guess. But I'm too much of an introvert to appreciate someone operating at that level of intensity when I just wanna be chill.
@IntrovertsAreUs
I can't speak for other introverts, but I do not behave like this and I don't agree with it either. And honestly, it literally is the definition of ghosting that is being described here. smh
@GracieBrownxox
@TheProselytiser
Yep. This is 100% true. I used to work at Centrelink and I felt ashamed when I spoke to customers. Its a weird kind of legal corruption going on there. You hear about the department spending hundreds of millions to upgrade the systems, but they spend literally zero on the bugs
@Inhumansoflate1
This is a bad argument. I'm totally for the idea of meeting people's basic needs but the logic here is crap. I know people who take advantage of their parent's wealth and smoke bongs all day never working. And I also know rich people who work very hard. Life is complex
@historyinmemes
How do you even define a colony? For example, many african tribes conquered others and then enslaved their people. Is it somehow less bad to enslave a society and erase their culture than to colonise them? Its too complex to fix at this point. Instead, right the wrongs of today
@DelusionPosting
There's ALOT of powerful females in the entertainment who were/are happy to be enablers of rapists and will destroy the careers of people who speak out
@WomenBeingAwful
I think its fine for a woman to propose in the form of a regular conversation. But once you get on one knee and have someone taking a photo, you are probably trying to humiliate the man. And it says that she's not wife material
@sensorystories_
Why does there need to be a statistical correlation for someone's issue to matter? Our society really needs to change to a more individualized form of health care and science. And away from the current tyranny of the majority.
@pearlythingz
This is a bad take. Jesus said that to a specific person. But he said to all people "judge not, lest ye be judged". And here you are bashing someone who is trying. Nobody goes through their religious journey in a day. She will find her path. Its not your job to find it for her.
@slow_developer
@MrEwanMorrison
@OpenAI
No. For an elitist it sounds harsh to hear the word "scam" because we have a two tiered society and its apparently fine to divert trillions in investment based on lies and hubris so long as your daddy's background allowed you to enroll at Harvard with your C grade average.
