Been saying it for several years now. One of the biggest problems with the game of golf is the @PGATOUR players...entitled, disrespectful, unrealistic, rude, etc, etc, etc...this is highly insulting to the game and to the golf course superintendents that steward it...do better.

Greenkeepers are professional tradespeople just like carpenters, plumbers, electricians, etc….they need to be paid as such and not on the same level as entry level positions such as fast food…we’ve got some serious catching up to do or the staffing frustrations will continue.

This old pile of top dressing sand wasn’t touched for close to a year. It’s now a dune-scape with Lupen, native fescues, and other cool stuff. We used to work really hard to recreate this kind of thing back at Bandon. Amazing how fast nature reclaims stuff when it’s allowed to!

We’ve implemented a constant approach to deep-tining fairways (3 fwys/week all year) in an effort to keep irrigation water moving through tight soils that haven’t seen significant rain in over 18 months…nice to see it paying off with new white roots in every aeration channel! 👍🏽
