GCSAA just announced total event attendance was 6,500. That’s a bit more than half of 2019 in San Diego. Clearly it was more about quality than quantity and good for them for pulling it off. So big win but still lots of questions about the show’s future as a cash cow.

This sucks. Another legend gone and another friend from my era who never really got to enjoy a real retirement. Loved Joe because he never suffered fools or countenanced bullshit. I take some solace in knowing he’s up there now happily arguing with Houston Couch and Jim Beard.
