I am so taken by Rowan Williams on what the saint is, as essentially the one so comfortable in themself that they can become transparent to Christ and draw people in to a desire to be more holy as they are, not through guilt, but by true desire, an erotic attraction to sanctity.

Seems the strongest correlation so far, among those who were raised going to church and no longer attend church today, is no extra-worship activities. In other words, if you want your kids to stay in church as adults, it seems you need to make them do more than go to worship.
