My SaaS is running on a server with just 2GB RAM and made $15,000 in last 28 days while serving 1200+ users.
No fancy serverless or database technology yet.
Just with PHP and MySQL 🤓
@dagorenouf
You mean “ChatGPT is free software but millions don’t know how to use it. Here are 10 tips” tweets are from same people who tweeted “Web3 is the next big thing. Read this if you want to save your job”?
For the first time after getting 2600+ users and generating more than $20k revenue we finally upgraded our server from 1 CPU - 2GB RAM to 2 CPU - 4GB RAM 😎
And it’s done. My first product got acquired on
@acquiredotcom
Thanks
@agazdecki
for creating the best platform for indiehacker’s exit.
Time to speed up on
@youformio
now 🚀
How we made $35,000 in revenue in less than 4 months after launch.
We launched Youform 4 months ago, and here are some key stats:
👥 4,000+ registered users.
🤑 $35,000+ in revenue.
🔁 $1,200+ MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue).
👀 340,000 page views (122,000 in the last 28 days).
I started working on Youform with a target of 10,000 users which felt like a distant dream.
The first line of code I wrote was in Jan 2023. Working on and off as I was having lots of other consulting works. Tried lots of cold DM'ing and reached almost 200 users in 10 months.
I am thrilled to announce that we are are not selected in YC24...
Actually, we didn't even apply 😂
In less than 3 months of running Youform we have received 3 funding offers, that too from reputable angel investors.
But we have to politely turn them down as we have decided
I am in an AirBnB on a hill station which is 8500ft above sea level in Himalayas.
My mobile Internet is giving 260Mbps speed.
This wasn’t even 1/100 4 years ago when I was here. Strange how fast Internet is accessible even in the remotest area of India.
Youform's user base is growing by 80-90 users a day. At this rate we will reach 10,000 users by end of this week.
I will soon need to change my X bio 🤓
Should I keep next target as 50k or 100k?
LOI accepted for Botflow. Nice experience with
@acquiredotcom
so far.
The acquisition should be done by end of this week.
Going with full force on
@youformio
then. 🤞🏻
Shipping fast at

- We ship the feature.
All within few hours. 🚀
I procrastinated it for so long!
Finally it’s here. 🎉
Since the launch of Youform 3 months ago, the logic builder remained the most requested feature.
I was afraid if I ship this feature, it will break lots of things. Moreover the effort it takes to build a logic builder
I have been posting all the wins here recently but bootstrapping isn't all bed of roses.
Here is how the Youform looked at 2:00AM last night. It took me some time to figure out the root cause and fix it.
In total the server was down for 25min and man that was stressful!
Yeah indie hacking money is cool but the freedom to watch your favourite childhood cartoon with your daughter on a Tuesday afternoon, without needing to ask anyone, hits different 🤓
🚨 Launch alert 🚨
Introducing Youform Payments.
Now you can connect your Stripe account with Youform to start collecting payments!
The use cases involve:
- Order forms
- Donation forms
- Appointment booking forms with online payments
- & much more!
This is a major feature
This is awesome! Someone collected 2641 submissions via Youform so far. If this was a Typeform they would have to be on their highest plan which costs $99/month.
Glad that we are building something which is not only helping people but also saving them money 😎
The most important thing you need to do while running a SaaS is to address the questions right where it might occur in your users' minds.
Especially when you are selling something like lifetime deal (which sounds too good to be true).
Devin looks great, but too bad the company which raised $21 million is using Google forms for their waitlist. 🤦🏻♂️
C'mon
@cognition_labs
you could do better,
@youformio
is here 😅
When I was starting to work on Youform my wife jumped in to help on landing page. She was still learning to design that time and was following some tutorials on Tailwind.
I asked her to go for neubrutal design. She wasn’t aware of this design style but took inspiration from
We made $34,000+ from Youform’s lifetime deal sales in less than 4 months.
Today will close this deal and switch to recurring revenue.
Thank you all the early adopters for your support. We will definitely make Youform a big success and your trust when we were just starting
This is my bio. While writing this I thought 10,000 users would be a distant dream.
We have launched 50 days ago and Youform already has 2000 users now.
How soon do you think I need to change this bio? 😛
We reached $1000 revenue within 8 days of paid plan launch. I never imagined it will be this fast. I could have never done this by myself. Glad I partnered with Davis!
We just crossed over $1,000 in total revenue for Youform, which was the amount at which mine and
@themkmaker
’s partnership becomes officially solidified.
Took us 8 days from launch to $1,000 in total revenue.
So
@themkmaker
— curious to hear if it was faster or slower than you
One month ago, we launched the Payments feature in Youform, allowing our users connect their Stripe account and directly collect payments.
To date, our users have collectively made $1620 using Youform. I expected this number to be higher tbh but we sent this feature announcement
Apparently 50 people thought it would be good idea to subscribe Youform's Youtube channel having zero videos. 🤷🏽♂️
Should I start making Youtube videos? 🤔
We destroyed $28,000 revenue of our competitor!
...or not sure how you will see it, but I did a little math and ran some SQL queries in Youform database to find the following:
Users who has submissions count:
more than 10 and less than 100 => 585
> 100 and less than 1000 =>
Introducing this cool feature in Youform.
Have a long form where your users missed some fields? You can now send them a link of their submission and they can refill it without needing to fill up the already submitted fields again.
Even incumbents like Typeform doesn't provide
So excited to launch this new feature in Youform. 🎉
Now you can let your users book meetings (or appointments) by using 3 popular schedulers in the market namely:
@Calendly
,
@calcom
and
@savvycal
By using them along with Youform's logic builder you can easily create
Shoutout to all the Indian Indiehackers on Twitter. How many of you are here?
I am an Indiehacker from India too but found that most of us are indulged in consulting freelancing with very few people actually in SaaS business.
So we have any community of Indian indiehackers?
One of our customers has collected more than 100K submissions via their forms.
Had they been using Typeform, they would have had to pay at least $500 for 50K submissions, after which they would need to upgrade to an enterprise plan, which costs somewhere between $1,000 to $3,000

@danielescillia
How about freshers? I love working remotely now but in my initial years of career I felt more comfortable when my senior was at one hand distance and during lunch and other times I could listen to others discussing things they are working on.
