:
eat small meals/snacks throughout the day around 200 cals so that your body doesn't go into animal mode when it sees food
i find that when i would fast it would trigger my binges so it made it extremely difficult to make progress

:
i try to occupy a space where theres no visible snacks and i won't be tempted. for me my safe space was my room and i could just stay in there and watch tv shows and distract myself
i want to start off by saying that these are tips that have helped me avoid binges, i used to eat easily 2,000-3,000 cals in one sitting and would eat until my body couldn't handle anymore and i would still shovel food into my mouth

:
when i ate food, i would try to chew 30 times for each bite and really savor the flavor. i found that when i did this, i would get full much faster bc i ate slower and also i would digest it better bc the food is fully chewed

after eating the snack, i would leave the house and go for a walk so that i wasn't in the space and i couldn't eat the snack anymore. i would force myself to walk at least 30 minutes bc that's how much it took for me to burn 100 cals

:
i would "dirty" my food, so either by spitting on it or putting something inedible on it so that i would force myself to not eat it. i try not to do this bc it wastes a lot but some days i have to or i feel like i'll eat the whole thing

fasting isn't for everyone! listen to your body. if your binging after fasting maybe think abt having smaller meals instead. fasting gets you faster results yes but that binge will make you gain it all back. personally, i'd rather have slow but sure progress

:
i didn't completely cut out snacks. i would portion out sizes that were under 100 cals and keep them in a non-visible place so that i was less likely to think abt it but i knew it was there in case i wanted it

:
drink lots of water in between bites if you're going to snack. i find that drinking a glass of water during times when i'm snacking makes me full much faster and i can practice stopping when i'm full

when i was offered food, like at work my boss brings donuts sometimes, i would eat half and "save the other half for later" and just throw it away when i get home
idk if other ppl also struggle with overeating snacks but i found that prepackaging them like this in under 100 cal servings makes it so that i get in the mindset of eating that much and then im done
im still in a deficit im still in a deficit im still in a deficit im still in a deficit im still in a deficit im still in a deficit im still in a deficit im still in a deficit im still in a deficit im still in a deficit im still in a deficit im still in a deficit im still in a d-
for me it's the idea of me drinking a 600-800 cal coffee thats just straight sugar and still feeling hungry, like i could eat 800 cals of good food and be full for the day
liquid calories don’t “matter” nearly as much as you think they do and the more active you are, the less they matter. your fears are encouraging you to eat when you could and possibly even should be drinking instead, and losing more for it.
