@bader_diedrich We used to get off school for Lee Jackson day but not Martin Luther King. I was in school in the 80s in Virginia. They also heavily taught that the civil war was not about slavery but state's rights. God awful history education.

I decided to take my 4x5 camera down to the ocean in between storms. This is a foggy view of the oceanfront. On a side note, I don't recommend long exposures on the sand with a huge camera. It does not work well together/sinking tripod. shot on Ilford FP4 for the FP4 party

I grew ginger this year and just harvested it. I'm not going to eat any and instead wrap in newspaper to grow bigger next season. I might start it in one of my grow tents in February to get the jump on the season. Smells amazing!!!!!

I was claustrophobic from days of rain keeping me in the house. I took a walk down the beach and saw other strollers doing the same. Played with a polarizer for this shot to try and bring more definition to the sky on a bright afternoon. I wish I was closer to that lady.

Today, I shot a test roll of Ferrania P30. I really like it. Deep blacks but still great detail. I have a few more rolls and will see what I can get from it. Also, the wind was blowing like 50mph so crazy wind.

As part of the camera challenge, I shot a trash incinerator. This huge beast caught fire last year and burned the conveyor belt. It sits in a shipyard district home to EPA superfund sites. #camerachallenge

I went to the Paul McCartney photo exhibit. I tried my luck pushing Kodak TMAX400 to ISO1600. If the light is even, it does not do well. If the light has high contrast, it looks great. You can see it struggle a bit in these shots.
