LMAO. I left my job at the City of Orlando a year ago because I knew the bathroom and anti-healthcare bills were coming. When I finally moved in early Nov, I was unable to get my HRT since May. There are NO sanctuary cities as long as these statewide bills are in place.

I love myself for being trans, not despite of it. Transition, as late in life (33) as it was, gave me such clarity on who I am & saved my life. Now 44, w/no regrets, only the scars that transphobia insists it deliver upon me. But I will thrive & so can you. #TransDayOfVisibility

If I knew this was gonna blow up, I'd spend the time in my OP pointing out that gatekeeping about canon design details has a huge overlap with gatekeeping trans, fat, poc, disabled, etc. people out of cosplay.
