I don't think any horse will ever win 16 G1 chases in open company again. For reference, Galopin Des Champs has won 3 G1s in open company. At the same age, Kauto Star had already won 5 G1s and was still winning G1s at the age of 11. An almost impossible feat to match

If it’s true that Auguste Rodin, as a Deep Impact, needs time between his races, it only goes to show how good Sea The Stars’s performances were in 2009. You can’t win the Guineas, Derby, Eclipse, Juddmonte, ICS, and Arc unbeaten whilst being 100% in every race

People need to stop going on about course records Strong pace up front, GF ground, and a tailwind down the straight will always lead to fast times It's one of the reason why I don't really focus that much on times; racehorses exist to win horse races, not to run good times

In the last two seasons, Gaillard Du Mesnil has raced 10 times over fences, including 5 G1s and two Nationals. Out of those ten races, he has won twice. Out of the other eight races, he has come second once. Out of the other seven races, he has come third *SEVEN* times!

Pity that Montjeu isn't around anymore, children at petting farms would have had a huge amount of fun with him....

I saw a tweet saying that all 50,000 racehorses in training should be retired and put in children’s petting farms, which sounds completely safe and sensible and not at all unhinged

If we're being honest, this was probably the greatest performance in the history of horse racing

If he were to win the Derby, Arabian Crown would be the first winner since 2006 not to be related to any of Sadler’s Wells, Allegretta, or Park Appeal

If you had a colt at the start of their 3yo season and were planning to retire them at the end of the year, is there any possible campaign that would be better at making a stallion than Guineas-Derby-Eclipse-Juddmonte-ICS-Arc?

Regarding WPM Bingo, Jeriko Du Reponet only has a Supreme entry, might make it more likely that the 🟢🟡send Mystical Power to the Baring Bingham That makes it more likely that Ballyburn will go to the Supreme IMO

The biggest blow to the Irish Derby was the decision (That should never have been made) to change the PdJC trip from 12f to 10f The PdJC still produced the likes of Montjeu, Hernando, Bering, Darshaan, and Caerleon when it was a 12f race so producing sires wasn't an issue IMO
