@skarsghardy For him, you're the "one that got away" - something of a novel experience for the infamous lover Astarion (conquests were his thing as a spawn, after all). I think it only made him pine for Tav even more deep down. Almost every aspect of this interaction is tainted with regret.

@dmbakura Kinks aside, he's accepting of pain when others choose to ignore it or pretend it doesn't exist. He's willing to go into the darkest corners of a person and doesn't shy away from what he finds, so I totally get that.

@skarsghardy Everything about that scene is beautiful. He initiates the kiss and the sex, and he is in total control of his actions. Most importantly, he is in love with someone that loves him. The rebirth of Astarion will always be the most beautiful scene in the game for me.

@skarsghardy I saw a clip, it was or gifs somewhere, showing how different the scenes are with him once he's ascended. He doesn't even look at Tav in the ascended scene. You must be prepared for the worst if you take the ascended path with him. It's sad ☹️

@skarsghardy I tried to find out how big Cazador is, but on the wiki it gives you nothing; lol it says he is "medium" sized, and that's it but that image shows him as much taller than Astarion's 5'9'' - he looks at least 6'3'' or even 6'4''

@skarsghardy It's also evident in some of Astarion's sarcasm directed at Wyll. Astarion feels a little vulnerable next to Wyll because he represents everything Astarion could never be (as a result of his circumstances). Wyll takes his time and, to some degree, wears his heart on his sleeve
