@eade_bengard I would love to personally buy your house if you were selling it FSBO. You’d see how valuable a good agent is in a hurry. Like anything- some are good, some are bad. I add more value to a transaction than I ever see.

@Fight_Ghost His gambling theory is completely wrong. He uses past event to try to predict current outcomes. Say you flip a coin 10 times and it goes heads 10 times in a row. Next flip he would lay -200 on tails, when it’s still 50/50.

@markjenney We went from 5k listings to over 20k listings fast. Nothing is moving, I have a listing that would have sold for $470k in March that’s getting very little activity at $400k right now.

@UncommonYield @BusinessFamous I’m in an unusual place as I have plenty in my 401k (500k at under 40 years old) and a decent amount in a brokerage account. I see my house as the last debt I have. Once it’s gonna it will be freeing and we can do it in 5-7 years while investing.

@kadams416 @RealFrugalMogul Are you VA eligible on you next loan? I’d most likely but it on a conventional loan (probably 5%down) and have a 6 month of cash on hand, that if you made 0 from your rental you’d be ok.

@BryceWGarcia Is it mathematically correct to pay off your home early- no not always. Does it reduce risk and is the correct decision for 95% of people, I’d say yes.

@dougducey Maybe i am ignorant, but I really don’t get it with the fear of the virus. 8 million people (many healthy) die of cancer every year. Alcohol, tobacco and sugar are all carcinogens and no one says a word. (If your nice about it someone explain what I’m missing here)

@FinanceHippy Go starter less expensive all the way. I started with a $70k condo, sold for $140k and bought a $220k house that’s worth over $400k now as a primary. Time in market over timing the market.

@El_bigC @AdvisorsMidwest @NewsLambert @Ivy_Zelman The builder (Lennar in this case.) Pays their in house lender to buy the rate down. Right now I can do well qualified FHA buyers at 4.75%. They do 100s of millions of dollars in bulk prime loans.

@CristinCulver @eade_bengard Open door at its core is a brokerage. It’s actually employees Realtors and charges a higher fee than that of independent brokerages. Look at zillows fee to sell by owner…. It’s significantly more than via a local expert.
