The “tech community” has a huge problem with the word innovate. 120hz screens are NOT innovative. 120hz screens existed in other products before they came to smartphones. The Android v. Apple debate is littered with stans thinking Android makers invented the wheel w/120hz panels.

The local Best Buy had an open box i7 iMac on sale for $1200. That's $1000 less than retail. Supposed spec: i7 10700, 5500xt, 512gb storage, 8gb RAM. I couldn't pass it up. I love these iMacs. I get it home and set it up and instead of 512gb of storage it has 4tb. WHAT?!?

Anyone who knows anything about audio knows this is true. Bluetooth can't support lossless audio. It doesn't have enough bandwidth available for the full signal.. There are codecs that try to fake it, but no. You want lossless? You need a wire.

Big time YouTuber has a car accident. That sucks and I'm very glad no one was injured. A day later he's gifted a brand new luxury car. Even if it goes back once his car is repaired (if it's repaired) how is this even possible? Great PR and marketing for Acura, I guess.

It took me nearly 8 hours to edit last night's video because Premiere kept crashing on my desktop.After the 6th try, I decided screw it and edited in FCPX on my 2015 Macbook Pro. I was done in less than an hour. I'm ready to give up on PCs as creative tools again.

I have to say, after spending time with the Pixel3 & 3XL last night I was a lot more impressed than I expected to be. It’s way better built than the 2/2xl. Pretty classy device and the cameras are crazy good. I have one on the way. Stay tuned for a review.

A couple weeks ago, Best Buy messed up and sold me a 2020 iMac with an i9 and 4tb of storage instead of an i7 with 512gb of storage. For $1200. Today, the local Best Buy has a 16" MBP with an M1 Max and 32gb of RAM with 1tb of storage for $3499. Which is better value for the $?

Found out my grandmother died from COVID early this morning. She was well into her 90s and lived a full life. The past few years she suffered from dementia and was in a nursing home. I guys I don’t have to share this.
