You don’t even need to buy the OTC meds. You can get vit b6 from whole foods. Ginger also helps with nausea. Same with eating protein early in the morning
@Schrocks7
@senpaichai
time out culture and spanking are both lazy parenting. your generation never grew up and are infantile in the same way. gentle parenting treats kids like rational people, who will grow up to be rational people.
love the twitter threads that are like “you have time to do this, you’re just lazy” bc it simply does not apply to new moms. “stand outside for an hour barefoot and calmly enjoy the sunrise” sir my child is hanging off my nipple
@notesfromautumn
God = Love. You cannot love without Him because He is love itself. Anything without God is not real love, it’s selfish and self-soothing
proud mama to a brand new baby boy. happy beyond words. 24h+ unmedicated labor. i cannot thank my husband enough for sticking by me and helping me bring our new baby into this world.
@RaykAnders
My favorite part is “whatever the CIA are doing in secret” like they haven’t been orchestrating the color revolution in Ukraine for the last 10+ years lmao

because admitting reality means admitting the conspiracy theory was right and if it was right, what else could these theorists be right about....
@betterfireE
@PeytonElroy
absolutely true. someone posted about how high alcohol intake by the father correlates with alcohol fetal syndrome or something like that. can’t imagine it’s different for other things like fast food, lack of exercise etc
@proetrie
she says the candidness was great “bc you don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings” but that’s not the issue. it’s because you don’t want people not to like you. she like many other woman find their worth in the approval of others; that’s why she jumps thru hoops to explain dates
@philosofically
I’ll weigh in as a woman who has a higher ed degree, exec-level positon, and got married at 26. There is no level of financial security that would have helped this situation. When you’re a victim of abuse there is no situation where you think things are okay because you have a -
@willlowthewhisp
I’d say make it a week. I read just enough to have a conversation about it. Then ask for another book and copies for my friends. Repeat. Start reselling those books on amazon. Now i’m wealthy AND literate. The grind never stops.
today we’ve decided that we will fall asleep for 10 minutes and then start screaming and will only fall asleep if mommy holds our hand. extremely cute, extremely loud lol
@dachacore
he’s tells me conspiracy theories and i think they are things everyone knows because he didn’t clarify that it’s considered a conspiracy theory
@chrismanfrank
people can’t wrap their heads around the idea that you can experience such wonderful joy just from caring for your kids. absolute pure love that nothing else can compare to

@GraduatedBen
it’s just a common trial lawyer line of questioning, albeit one you learn in law school and is very uncreative. it shows how this attorney is panicked and grabbing at straws so to speak
@philosofically
degree and a job. Having financial security doesn’t make your husband abuse you less. It doesn’t make it easier to move out bc your funds are typically intermingled w your husbands. You cant just move to a different location; you have a job to worry about.
@KriegerDavid_
to clarify women’s fertility is a health marker, ideally women are fertile all the time, however implantation has a limited timeframe. just bc it’s important for both men and women to learn the right terminology to avoid misstatements/misreps
@hollowearthterf
“women are oriented towards what is “right” (taking care of children) during relationship because I (the man) am a part of that equation. once i am removed (divorce) she is wrong regardless of nature”
@omnivoyance
I was this person before I had my baby. And everyone said don’t be like this but I was. And now I know better 🥲 having a baby is theee most humbling experience lol
@goinggodward
it sounds like a really good opportunity to pose critical thinking questions for your students. that’s something i would have loved while in school - here’s the author, let’s discuss what assumptions he’s making, what arguments can you make against his arguments, etc
i wish so badly i didn’t have to pump 4-6 times a day. i wish i could just throw my son on the boob and not have to give him a paci. i wish we didn’t have to spend all that money time and energy on tongue ties and therapy. But God has other plans and I am thankful for it.
one of my favorite things about
@Grimhood
threads is that all of the research is actually there. not just some random conclusions to sell you something.
@LostSoul_76
wild that she would take the time think “i should put this on tiktok,” set up the light and camera on the tripod in order to film this and took her shirt off just for internet views
@sumlenny
you’re telling me black people cant be bad guys? that’s the pretty racist. the woman is clearly a gypsy, not jewish. parrots have beaks, that’s not a metaphor, you weirdo. russian people are the heroes in russian films? what a shocker
@tiredofinterne1
@martyrmade
the fact that people know about this is the leak. the point of a secret is that everyone else isn’t supposed to know, especially the victims. you are looking straight at a summary of the leaks and saying they don’t exist.
@wisedingbat
arguably it shows how ridiculous edmund was to trade his family for a dessert that’s not even that good. like how often the sins we commit aren’t even a little worthwhile compared to what we are giving up
@philosofically
You can’t let your coworkers know. You have to be responsible for your job AND your baby. You have loans in addt to regular expenses. When you have a corporate job your contact info is public. You husband can find you easily. He can get you fired. Your job becomes a liability.
guys that say “i don’t want to have daughters bc they could become OF models” never say “i don’t want to have sons because they could become OF subscribers”
@helen_of_roy
a generation of folks who believe that they can set aside their responsibilities to their family and community, and have taught a huge majority of millennials to believe the same
@opheliamuses
sometimes it feels like you don’t really have a choice - the grief hasn’t hit quite yet and there are still responsibilities that need to be handled
@philosofically
If your husband slanders you professionally your career is gone. Your savings become a liability for you since his divorce attorneys will go after it.
why does my mom feel the need to call me just to be mean and ask what i could possibly be tired from. idk maybe carrying a baby around for the last 7 months or so??

Homeschooled kids have the ability to discuss differences in beliefs and create new ones while most public school kids will refuse to believe anything that’s not in line with the propaganda they’ve been taught

i would argue that its always an honor system. no research study would approve the funds (or time) to call each school registrar to check IDs and confirm that so and so was a student there
if you’re in the US, you need to be contacting your state/local raw milk groups. i’m on a mailing list that just notified me of a farmer 15 minutes away from me that sells milk, eggs, beef and pork. we usually go to the farmers market but this shortens the supply chain even more
