Sigh… Our adorable, mischievous, loving Rookie collapsed and died today. He was 13. I’m grateful he went quickly and without suffering. Also grateful my kids’ Dad was there to comfort Rookie while trying to save him. But my heart hurts. Especially for my kids. 😞

First, Aldi grocery store is closing in North Minneapolis. Now, Walgreens in North Minneapolis to close. I feel so bad for this community. I hope they demand & work for changes in their government representation. They deserve better.

The MN House-Senate conference committee on recreational cannabis just completed its work. Two significant agreements include going with a 10% tax on cannabis products instead of 8% as proposed by the House. Also, local governments will get 20% of the revenue instead of 25%.

My State Representative nailed it. There is NO REASON FOR VOTING “NO” on eliminating state income tax on Social Security benefit payments. But the Democrats in the Senate and now in the House voted No. #mnleg

The exodus of retired (and soon-to-retire) Minnesotans to other states will only increase thanks to greedy Democrats (DFLers). Retired citizens are a necessary resource to society. They are volunteers, grandchildren caretakers, part-time workers, innovators, charity donators, etc

@gogophers61 @thauserkstp Andrea, looks like DFL leadership in the House tabled the SAFE bill. Some Minneapolis Representatives said they were going to vote no on the bill. If the Governor is so upset, tell him to talk to his friends in the House.
