Maid Marian and her Merry Men ran from 1989 for 4 series. Tony Robinson came up with the idea of the show, after watching his daughter playing with other kids and thinking that if she had been in Robin Hood's gang, she would had been the one who was running it, not Robin Hood.

Harry Enfield's Television Programme 1990–1992 The inspiration for the Scousers were 2 characters from Brookside. The Scousers were usually depicted with Kevin Keegan bubble perm hairstyles and bushy moustaches, wearing shell suits, and speaking in exaggerated Scouse accents.
