Went to the Temple for the first time since 2015 tonight. Wonderful experience that really put a lot of things in perspective. Excited to go back again and again now that I am active again and have my Temple Recommend active again.
I am a convert from the evangelical church, the 1 thing I miss the most is men's "ministry". Men's groups that got together weekly, outside of church, to discuss problems that men face, for support and bonding. The LDS Church ain't great about that. I've tried to get men to do
Not sure how exactly this happened to
@BYU
, but it has, and it's sad to watch in real time. Love is truth, not tolerance to behavior that goes counter to the order of heaven.
Imagine being Cox right now being proud he "won". Knowing he ONLY won cause we have an open primary&Democrats can switch their party2vote n the primaries&then switch back. Knowing that HIS OWN CAUCUS didn't choose or want him. Yet hes proud he won. Hes a snake and he has no shame
Things outside of EQ, outside of the yearly Father's & Sons events, it's very hard to get men to be interested in something regularly. I believe the bond of like minded men is important. Any LDS men here feel the same, or feel it's lacking, like I do?
Sorry, not sorry, if ur serious about the Restored Gospel and its truths, u should not support
@LindseyStirling
she's clearly apostate&has joined herself with those in the great&spacious building. She has aligned herself with those who mock our Lord and should not be supported.
Seeing a lot of posts about tattoos today. I'm a convert covered in tattoos. The Brethren in the past has suggested not to get them, I think they are not as loud on the subject any more because of the growth of the church with a large amount of converts, you're guns have more
I missed the 200 day anniversary. But oh well. It's been 202 days since I came back2the Gospel. N those 200 days,I've blessed my first child, baptized my mother,gone back2the Temple, & got a calling in the EQ Presidency. Quite the eventful 200 days,&a massive blessing to my life.
Since becoming active, I've started a new tradition with my wife and son. Every Sunday, we watch Music & The Spoken Word together on
@byutv
. It's a great activity to do before church and get us prepared to receive the Sacrament. Blessed Sabbath everyone!
Since posting about how great an experience it was to go back to the Temple, and then posting about Lindsey Stirling, getting both love and hate from people on both posts, I've gained a few more followers than I had since yesterday 😆 to anyone new, welcome! Nice to meet you!
So I'm not from Utah. Is Chuck-o-Rama a Utah thing? I've been here three times now and three times I've been disappointed. This will be my last time. Like Golden Corral is garbage, and I'd MUCH Rather have it than Chuck. Am I missing something on why it's popular?
We actually aren't Christians just like you. You follow man-made creeds. We follow the Savior, who points us to His, and our Father. We are the TRUE Christians and the TRUE Church. Cope harder.
@wilhelm_berkley
I would be careful taking the sacrament at all with all that evil brewing in your heart until you've had a heart to heart with the Savior and you work on your evil soul.
Interesting that I've never interacted with this person before, or Even know who this person is, but they come on my post, which was meant to be encouraging, and tell me they are blocking me 😆😆😆 love how "Democrat" is in their name. That is the state of Democrats. They hate
@KJacobKelley1
@LindseyStirling
If you actually read the Scriptures, you'd know one actually can judge righteously. You just want to make excuse for sin. So if I were you, I'd be the one repenting. 🤷
Jesus:Crucified.
Peter:Crucified upsidedown.
Andrew:Crucified on an X shaped cross.
James:Killed.
John:Boiled alive.
Phillip:Stoned&Beheaded.
Bartholomew:Skinned alive and crucified.
Thomas:Speared.
Paul:Beheaded.
Go on&tell me how discomfort keeps yu from keeping covenants 🙄
If remembering Christ is the goal, is the garment the best strategy? It reminds
#SisterDennis
of Christ, but it also distracts many other people from thinking of Christ due to discomfort, pain or resentment.
#GeneralConference
@AndrewBragg5555
I miss the heck out of Priesthood session. I miss weekly EQ. I'm not typically one to question the leadership,but thats something I wondered about a lot. Like it seems like it would weaken the brethren. Men need relationship w/other men,& they need it oft. So its def a concern4me
I would be careful taking the sacrament at all with all that evil brewing in your heart until you've had a heart to heart with the Savior and you work on your evil soul.
@DefenderofZi0n
I will never take the sacrament along side persons with uncovered tattoos. If you cannot even be bothered to wear long sleeves to cover your sin then you are not wanted, nor are you needed.
@austinknight
Long story, short version, I know the Bible extremely well, I studied the Church's doctrine and compared it, found no flaws in the doctrine of the Church, and even answered questions that the evangelical church couldn't answer, and I found no contradiction in Scripture.
Even the Brethren don't speak ill of the Lion of the Lord. There's many things I might personally disagree w/modern Elders and Presidents,but I know they're the anointed of the Lord,so I treat them w/the utmost respect. Why ppl think it's okay to disparage Bro. Young is beyond me
@EricCMeadows
On top of that, I've known many con men. They WILL NOT die for their lie. When they get caught, or get challenged, they run away and hide. Joseph Smith not only was willing to die for the Truth, he had the chance to get away, but faced his challenges knowing he was going to die.
"Our faith (LDS) is the easiest to mock, but the hardest to dismiss." - Manhattva. Best quote out of the
@Manhattva
@WardRadioShow
Livestream. Great Livestream BTW. You should watch it!
Some awesome DI (Deseret Industries) finds. The Joseph Smith portrait is huge and has to have been in a museum or something, a little bit of water damage but still awesome! And the pencil art of the Prophets up to Gordon B. Hinkley is really well framed. I love the DI!
Bottom line for me, it won't keep you from exaltation, and there is plenty of sin that will that is magnified in this modern world that should be focused on routing out of people's lives so they can reach exaltation. Let's focus on that
Other than one other fella, a convert as well, that was former Mexican cartel, with a tear drop tattooed under his eye (you know what that means) which he will help with the sacrament as well, we are the only two tatted in our ward. We are also a couple of the most active.
Could use some prayers. I jacked up my back pretty good at work 2day. At least this is the start of my weekend&I get2rest until Tuesday&I go back2work. Really can't afford2take off now that I have a family. This is the 1st time in awhile my back has hurt like this. Don't miss it
The Bishopric loves us for who we are, not who we were, and tatts never even get brought up. It's a personal choice, that is growing a lot more common place even in Utah. To argue over it is stupid, especially if you are becoming a church full of converts.
And more with tattoos. They won't keep you out of the Temple, err go, won't keep you from exaltation. I think in a few years, you'll hear less and less the Brethren speak on them. I'm in my EQ presidency and in this heat,I wear short sleeves all summer and have my tattoos exposed
@DanteCarpdom
Yeah, I haven't tried since I moved to a family ward, but when I was in a singles ward, I tried to get a men's breakfast together, but no one was interested. It's quite frustrating. And ppl wonder why men in the Church are not as battle ready for the modern world as they should b
Freaking A nothing is safe. To start off, I'm not a gamer, so canon means nothing to me, but I started Halo, loved the first season, didn't put anything woke in it. And what happens FIRST EPISODE S2? Freaking guys kissing all over each other. They. Have. To. Ruin. EVERYTHING🤬
@carolinegleich
That's an interesting way to say "murdering Innocent babies" must be protected. So glad that killing babies, the large majority of which are black, is the most important issue to the affluent white lady.
My posts are gaining more traction than ever. When I post something, I IMMEDIATELY get a like on it and it's some p*rn bot. Is that normal? It's annoying as eff and is there a way to stop it?
@fox13
Why are there LGBTQ+ groups on campus? When are the leaders of
@Ch_JesusChrist
going to tackle the infections of the world infiltrating the Lord's school?
@sltrib
Now do flags that represent what people do with their private parts and I'll concede, but you won't, so I won't either. Shouldn't have pushed your state religion of the rainbow Mafia down our throats. Did you really expect the pendulum wouldn't swing back?
I 💩 you not. This can be found in the MENS bathroom at the JW Marriott library on the U of U campus. 😂😂😂😂
Here during supercross evacuation and took this pic myself.
@sltrib
How come I don't see an article saying the Church should take a stand on the accusations of Bidens daughter's diary, or their stance on Hunter's laptop? Or their stance on Biden sniffing little girls and the accusations from Tara Rede? When will I see that headline?
@UtahFlatRanger
It makes no sense to me how they can expect you to not treat them like perverts and then do this crap ALL THE TIME in front of children. If just "being your authentic" self is committing sex acts and being nude in front of children, what the hell is your definition of perversion?
This guy’s Tesla’s autopilot went rogue and just started driving without a defined destination.
After 3 minutes it ended up in the parking lot of a Mormon church 😂
They may be members, but they ARE NOT faithful members if they support gay marriage. Sorry, not sorry. You CANNOT support what God calls an abomination AND be a faithful servant of Christ.
All the OT, NT, and BOM prophets, apostles, AND DISCIPLES called out sin, especially public figures who would lead the flock astray. So yes, actually this is a biblically accurate representation.
Utah Governor’s Office says it was notified by Denver a month ago about its program to pay for migrant travel here. Denver says the program has been going for roughly 18 months.
@bmullahy2news
@joshnaa2gez
Before being baptized in the Church, my mega evangelical church I went to had a class on how to "witness" to Mormons. That was in West Texas. Even before coming a member, I disagreed with the purpose of the class.
@TableSlamStan
@KingKodiakBear
Retarded take. Yes, I want government to come in to keep people from f*cking children. If you don't, you deserve just as much as the millstone around your neck as pedophiles.
The most pivotal moment in history is Christ's life & ministry. This image is easily the 2nd most pivotal moment in history. The Restoration of the Gospel changed the course of religious history & anyone with common sense can see that, regardless of if you agree with it or not.
A thread🧵1. I would actually love a Nation of Deseret. I'm a proud member of the LDS Church. I'm a Christian, I'm a nationalist. So I guess u would say I'm a CN. That's why I follow a lot of the ppl I follow here. But I'm also in an interracial marriage w/a biracial
@sltrib
You can peacefully protest on public land, a university is private land, they can treat the protesters however they want if they don't want them there 🤷
@Zaphod_2022a
@NormieUtah
@KUTV2News
If you equate shaking your ass in a very sexual way, like they do in strip clubs, in front of kids, to "just dancing" and equate it to Footloose, you need your head checked, and a millstone sized for your neck.
Any kind of peace that isn't offered by the State. They're miserable, so they can't stand to see someone happy, at least someone that is happy through any other means than destroying cities and stealing taxes from other people to pay for freeloaders. Imagine showing to the world
B4joining the Church,I was evangelical.I had a copy ofthe Bagdavita.I had a copy ofthe Quran.I had multiple Buddhist books.I hadthe Sikh texts.I also had a copy of the BOM.I had these not cause I believed they were divine but cause they were historical.History shouldn't b burned.
@PinkneyAtLarge
Leftists once again changing the definitions of words. I wouldn't call the people who every major corporation in the west spends every day for a month every year celebrating their lifestyle or getting cancelled if they don't "marginalized".
I hope every country represented in this picture loses and loses BIG. Yes, even America. To hell, literally, to any country that would blaspheme the Lord Jesus Christ this way.

I love when baby killers or would be baby killers insult you like it's supposed to hurt your feelings😆 you're a murderer, you think you have the moral high ground? 🧐😆
@Kealnt7
@deseretian
Did you have an anti-Mormon talking point check list in front of you as you typed that out? You had a few characters left to spout off some more nonsense you clearly had no clue about 😆
You are no real friend if u condone sinful behavior w/o at least warning your friend. You can be friends and kind to people but to condone and not warn them says you hate them. To warn them is to love them. People don't know what the true, biblical definition of love is anymore
Imagine trying your damnedest to offend people u disagree with doctrinally, when u could b fighting against the degenerates like we are, with us. Ur welcome2join us. Imagine thinking wiping out Mormonism is more important than wiping out pedos & ideology that is gaying the world.
@smashbaals
"Mormonism" has made Utah 1 of the safest States in the US for how many people are populated here. Any community with "Mormonism" makes the surrounding community better/cleaner/safer. Family values over secular values, but the would would be "objectively better" without? 🙄 GMAB.
Funny that the Church haters, when talking about all the money the Church has amassed, they act like they just sit on it and horde it,when nothing could b further than the truth. We do more2help ppl worldwide than any faith combined. The Church's finances r used2bless the world.
More supplies from the Church of Jesus Christ have arrived in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, as chapels are being used as shelters. See an update here on the flooding.
🧵1. I used to entertain trolls. No more, it's honestly draining and puts me in a dark spiritual place I shouldn't be. So I'm turning over a new leaf. If u want to have civil discussion and tell me why you think I'm wrong, I'm down for conversation. But you insult my deeply held
As a convert, I truly don't get the garment issue. Born & raised in humid Texas, now living in super hot dry So. Utah. I always wore an undershirt, and honestly the bottoms are more comfortable than "regular" underwear. People are making a beef about nothing. I see it in a couple
@TylerHam311
She did a "LoVe iS LoVe" show with David Archuletta who is out and proud and mocking the church in his new music now. The clothes she wears suggests she doesn't keep certain Temple Covenants. If she's serving unworthily, you would hope her Bishop would take notice.
@FriedScones
@carolinegleich
She can't say abortion, because then she'd have to admit she DOESN'T want to represent what the majority of Utah believes, but that she wants to go to Washington solely to further HER OWN agenda, and not Utah's.
No, Lindsey is a public person. It is extremely biblical to call out public sin. If that offends people, oh well, it offended people in Paul's day as well. If you're a public person openly defending sin, don't be surprised when a true Christian calls them out 🤷
LDS person creates an anonymous account to post SS of an inactive member’s instagram story; to say that all members should avoid this person, and that this person has joined the anti-christ’s.
This kind of behavior is not helping the cult allegations. This is a culty mindset.
