There are proud parents of kids who are scoring over 90% in exams. I am happy that my boys can identify Sukhois, Mirage and Jaguars. Now they even compare C-5 Galaxy with An-124/225. They are bad in maths but today they asked me : How SLBMs are fired underwater? So satisfactory.

55-60% was enough for my expectations but he scored 90%. Mehdi's aim is NDA & then Para SF and I hope he will achieve his goals. Never pressurise kids on percentage. Let them do what they like most. Be happy even if they score 40 coz this is what we expected from our parents too.

IAF's Globemaster fleet is Under Serious Threat. Hindon Airbase, home of C-17's Skylords is just 6 Km from new dumping ground in Raj Nagar Extn. It falls in the line from where aircraft start descending towards air strip. This will pose risk of regular bird hits. Kindly Amplify.

Mig-21 came in 1959 India chose them in 1961. Jaguar came in 1973 India got them in 1979. Mig-29 came in 1982, India placed order in 1980. Mirage-2000 came in 1984. India got them in 1985. Su-30 came in 1996. India received them 97. Then we entered in MMRCA goofup, now MRFA.

We make fun of JF-17 but truth is that it is evolving with new tech. since induction. Just imagine the experience PAF pilots gained on JF-17. Its an assembled Chinese jet but effective against India. PAF is not nut to include them in big numbers. Already over 150 operational.

Why was USAF bombing Taliban positions in Herat, Helmand & Kandhar ? Why were they using B-52 bombers for missions with no clear goals ? US just facilitated Taliban in early & smooth takeover of Afghanistan. It was Air Power all these 2 decades that kept Taliban away from Kabul.
