People would climb on top of Jabal Abu Qubais, which is a huge mountain that is situated behind Mount Safa in Makkah.
There, they would try to sight the moon, and once it was sighted, they would wave a coloured flag...(1)

The women are present in the haram, due to the absence of men as they're helping out with the Hajj in the hajj sites like arafah.
As a result, the women are the ones who worship by the Ka'bah on this day.

What happens to Al Masjid Al Nabawī during the Hajj ?
Well… Al Masjid Al Nabawī would be full of the colour black, closely resembling the events that takes place in Al Masjid Al Haram on the day of Arafah.
Today was one of those days where I realised how much of an impact Sheikh Muhammad Ayyub had.
Even till now, multiple imams imitate him in Al Masjid Al Nabawī
Even Sheikh Ahmed Al Hudhaify imitated him today.

This incident took place on King Abdul Aziz road, which is a super long road that leads to the eastern side of the Haram , passing by Al Baqī.
It’s amongst the best roads in Al Madinah, as it provides a complete view of the Haram !

The current lighting of the Umrah gate Minarets are a huge throwback to how the Minarets were lit up pre 90s!

The facade of the King Fahd gate is returning back to the grey and white colour scheme, whereas before, for nearly 10 years, it was a green and gold colour scheme.

Updates on the Minarets of Al Masjid Al Nabawī ( they’ve turned to LED lights, just like Masjid Qubā )
You can spot which Minarets have the LED lights on them.

This was due to him leading the Taraweeh prayers, then after his shift there was a Janazah prayer which he proceeded to lead.

This was his first Khutbah after his contract was renewed.
A secret museum that 99% of you guys don’t know about, in the courtyards of Masjid Al Nabawī !
Basically, it is located under one of these entrances to the carpark, opposite the green dome, in front of the Sharia courts and on the courtyards.
You enter it, by going downstairs.

If you guys want to know how big Al Masjid Al Nabawī is, It takes around 20 mins and 40 seconds to walk around the Haram during off peak seasons ( after Ramadan / Hajj )
Whereas during peak seasons it takes around 22 mins and 19 seconds ( Ramadan , Hajj, holidays )
