We’re sure that you will join us in thanking our wonderful PTA for the beautiful baubles they have given to all of the pupils this year. They really are a special gift ❤️
We have so much to be grateful for in our school. The kindness and generosity of our parents is wonderful. A massive thankyou to Memphis and her family for being part of our community and leaving us a great present- an outdoor library!
A lovely morning

We had a visitor to the playground over the weekend, caught on our school security cameras. Year 2 will be writing instructions for Mr Hardy on how to trap it.

We have successfully been re-assessed for the National Quality Award (NQA) of the Welsh Network or Healthy Schools Scheme. We were the 9th school in the Vale to receive this award in 2018 and have maintained these standards for 2 years now.

Congratulations to Ella who competed in gym for Wales over half term. Ella was up against 18 countries with many competitors and was ranked 11th overall in her age group. Well done Ella we are very proud of you!
Congratulations to Eryn who achieved her Green Blue Peter badge for growing vegetables and planting trees with her family. A lovely bit of news to end the term on.
A lovely surprise for everyone coming to school this morning - a new outdoor area. The ribbon has been cut so we now declare it officially open! A big thankyou to the PTA for their fundraising and support in making it happen.
It has all been a bit strange and not the ending we would have liked but these guys have been superstars in our school and we wish them every success for the future.
Its amazing how quickly children adapt and how resilient they are. The few tears this morning have gone and we are back to it- having fun, chatting with friends and working. Fab start and we're very proud!

. You're in for a treat if you've got tickets! And we had the best seats in the house!
We haven't seen this for a while. It's really nice to have all of Key Stage 2 together again; and even better that we are celebrating all the fantastic work that's been happening this week! 😁😁
It's Miss Downie's last week so we've started with a little assembly for her. The children sang a lovely song, just about her, plus there was cake and games. Diolch Miss Downie.
FAO parents - currently, we still plan to open to all children from Wednesday 6th. We have an update meeting with the LA tomorrow (Mon 4th) so will email you in the afternoon to confirm details. Thanks for your patience.
