I still don't understand why many traders (newbies/intermediate/experienced) use way too many indicators. It just muddles your entire thinking. And I know there are some who sell a bunch for exorbitant $$$. Why? Some of them are just a mix of 2-3 indicators.

2 things I focus on always: 1. Missing a trade for me is perfectly okay. I want price to come to me, not the other way. 2. Making money is not that difficult. Keeping what you made is very difficult. Focus, patience very important.

My P&L has started to work better since the time I stopped any and every lotto type trades. 85-90% screw up with 10-15% may work. 100% risk - how much have I lost trying this earlier this year or last year? Great swing trades then this. Boy my journal review revealed a lot.

Plan to cut down on hedges this year. Plan to reduce size and focus on 3-5 trades a week, max 30-40 a month. No more. Reviewed journal across the board and hedges have paid but been my weakness. Better of playing $TLT and $GLD or yen $6J_F or $FXY.

No one knows where this market is going. Oversold can get much more oversold before any meaningful bounce. This is not a place to blindly buy the dip as you've been accustomed to. Careful picking tops and bottoms.

Few things to carry forward into 2021 that worked in 2020: 1. Trade more common 2. Trade Deep ITM calls or very close to the money call spreads with shorter dated put credit spreads (Expiry 2-3 months out) 3. Sit on hands coupled with patience.
