I second that, big meetings can be overwhelming, especially for the first timers! We all have our awkward stories! A friend of mine once very innocently asked Tom Pollard : "Do you know anything about actin?". Its tough to beat that, so you will be just fine 😀

Nothing about meetings as a student or first-timer is easy. I have some really awkward stories myself 🤦🏽‍♀️. It gets better & mostly people aren’t awful. It might feel like you’re the only one hustling but many PIs are looking to recruit too. You might be that someone! Go get it!

Using a stentor-pair as a model, we found that neighbors continuously change the separation between them! As the distance decreases, inner vortices fuse and the flow rate of the feeding flow increases! 5/n
