We’ve restored power to 18,500 customers and are working hard to reconnect 3,300 more. Field and support staff continue to do all they can in extremely challenging conditions. Work to reconnect customers continues tonight and from first thing tomorrow.

Last night we had a call from a customer who advised their child's toy had ended up in our substation. Knowing that retrieving it themselves would be dangerous, they called us. Our engineer, Stuart, came to the toy's rescue and delivered it safely back to the child.🐶

As of 11am this morning, we have experienced over 120 faults on our high voltage network and our teams have successfully restored power to over 3,800 customers in extremely challenging conditions.

The storm-force winds of Eunice fell an 80ft spruce tree onto our power line near Chichester yesterday. Due to the tree's size and location, it was a highly complex job to remove it with each team member playing a key part in the operation.
