Hi All, just to let you know I had to go into hospital for have a emergency appendectomy over the weekend. So I am feeling a bit rough 😕 nevertheless life goes on and hopefully I will back on better form soon. Tweets will happen but maybe less frequent for a while.

Hi All, it was a week today, that our great NHS swiftly removed my burst appendix🤒. I went to A&E in the morning & by the evening they had operated. Next morning I gratefully discharged myself to home recovery. Thanks to all, for your good wishes, I'm feeling much better now 👍.

Afterglow is an odd album, Crowded House had split, it's an album of rejected songs that didn't make it on to the studio albums, yet it reached 18 in the UK charts for 2 weeks, with no singles or overt PR. Among devoted frenz like myself it's on regular rotation.

@kimberlyjoyner_ Not quite, Tim Finn was the main front man of Split Enz with Phil Judd, when Phil left, Tim bought in Neil Finn, his brother. Over time Neil's contributions grew when he began to write songs for the Enz. When the Enz split, Neil Finn went on to front Crowded House.
