The reason I love Ultimate is this image. It’s not that there were 22 Steves out of 364 (6% of players) or 13 ROBs (3.5%). It’s that ALL 82 CHARACTERS were represented. That’s really, really cool to me. Even in games with smaller rosters, full rep doesn’t happen very often.

Lot of scenes banning Steve pretty quickly. I will be transparent. I have not advocated for a Steve ban. The main reason is because of how poorly the community at large has treated Steve mains since release just for playing their character. It’s been frustrating & unwelcoming.

There still hasn’t been a singular good reason that PS2 is legal over PS1. The only PS1 stage bug ever seen (stage clip) had the issue patched in 3.0, but players are STILL flying through the bottom of PS2. PS1 should be legal at every event. PS2 should not be legal ever again.

Since they couldn’t be bothered to put it on the map, WARP ZONE 2 happened as well, with players such as Ned, loaf, C8, skittles, Doorstop in attendance. Lucky won the event, using solo Piranha Plant. UGS put on a fantastic tournament that shouldn’t be swept under the rug.

I’m so fucking sick of this narrative. September always sucks, game is 5 years old, multiple events per week are expensive and several formerly Chicago players and regulars just moved away. People aren’t bailing on locals cuz of some fake “split up petty clique shit with orgs.”

There is absolutely no way people on socials are turning on Corrin already, not after all the Steve/Sonic/ROB/G&W/Kaz complaining. Just further proof players will complain no matter what character does well. Top 8 hasn’t even happened yet and it’s already happening. 😑

What if we explored a format where, instead of just banning stages, we banned characters like how MOBAs work? Each player would get 3-5 character bans. Would force players to learn multiple characters in an EIGHTY character game and not just focus on cheese with one. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@RiotLettuce Not a great take here. Kid got his first truly big win and was respectful enough to fistbump, put the headset down without damaging it, unplug his controller without displacing the adapter, and all he did was jump up and down a bit. This is NOTHING compared to some popoffs.

Why is anyone hating on RisterMice for his content videos? “It doesn’t answer “why” matchups are bad.” It’s a short. It’s supposed to be like 30 seconds long. “Seems like lazy content, it’s just matchup charts.” Yeah. That’s the point. Quick reference notes. People just hate.

Costco sells a 4 pound bag of Chicken Breast Chunks and if you have an air fryer they are nearly identical to CFA nuggets. The bag is $14. If you’re so desperate for the sauce, go pay $3 at the grocery store for the big bottle. That’s $17 to eat this food 10+ times at home.
