Suzuki is better than Eichel. Habs/Bruins/Leafs/Sens/Coyotes/Devils/Blackhawks/Pens/Rangers/Panthers/Whalers. Goalie guy. Demidov is a Hab! pvt:
@habsbren
As an anglophone from Hamilton, I fucking love this and I’m so happy Montreal won this game! Being a long time CFL fan, I can tell you there’s so many French Canadian players throughout the league and obviously that’s our second language across the country
I love the fact that Arber studied Kassian’s fighting style before this and noticed he liked to take his time at the start of fights so Arber didn’t let him do that and just attacked him right away
Through all the anger rn, I just want to say we love you Patty. We’re still with you and we all hope whatever this is heals properly and you come back to the Bell Centre and rediscover your potential like we all knew you were going to this year. Get well soon
I’ll never forgive myself for being upset that we passed on Wright for him. He’s so far ahead of anyone his age as far as his mentality and work ethic. Idk how he figured out to think this way so early on in his career
Notice Arber slashing him, turning him around, doing everything in the book to tell Pare “I’m going to beat you up rn, prepare yourself” and Pare still skating away. All after Pare injured a star player
This is basically only covering core players too. If you want to understand why Habs fans are so upset it’s right here. This hurts so much and it feels so unfair
Nick Suzuki:
Does every media event for us
Learned French and does French commercials
Is heavily involved in the community
Represents us at the ASG every year
Has been the best player on the ice since his captaincy
Has been the gold standard for what a pro needs to be
I refuse to hate on Shane Wright. We didn’t draft him. There’s no reason to be petty. I really like Slafkovsky and I’d rather put my attention into supporting the player we took rather than bashing the one we didnt
Since this has been a particularly shitty year of sports for me, he’s a throwback to one of the few times I’ve experienced pure joy and happiness while watching sports
Nick Suzuki is a better goalscorer than McDavid. Don’t come to me with arbitrary stuff like games played or the fact that McDavid scored 64 goals last year
Slaf might not be “breaking out” (i’m kinda joking when I say that) but it’s legitimate game over game consistent improvement and growth. He’s starting to put up points, he’s doing little things very well. This is extremely encouraging and I think its just the start
HOF, Number retired, statue outside the Bell Centre. None of the other Habs legends stood on their own for an entire era the way Price did. Lots of the old timers were winning cups with like 8 teams in the league so I don’t want to hear the cup argument
-Wrong to freak out about Slaf
-Wrong that this management group didn’t want a star forward
-Wrong that we didn’t tank properly
-Wrong about David Reinbacher?
@expertdudeguy
@Dexerto
By her boss… who controls her salary and could potentially stop her from getting future rolls. Do you not see the problem here?
I can’t tell people how to act and I’ve been an advocate for not giving a shit about booing, but I hope Drouin gets a positive reception. It’s his home and I think it’d mean a lot to him after everything if we still showed support
This is the way I see it:
The Habs turned down Askarov and a 1st
The Habs turned down Cutter Gauthier
The Habs didn’t draft Michkov
The Habs didn’t draft benson or Leonard
The Habs REALLY love Reinbacher. There’s obviously something they see that we don’t
Pronman said on his podcast that Demidov was taken at 5 and Yakemchuk was 7 so they’re not that far apart and I’d just like to point out that that is objectively a very silly argument to make.
Ik it’s a meme and everything, but the way the fanbase has legitimately rallied behind a struggling player that we signed to a big contract is really cool. It’s kinda a joke, but I feel that there’s a lot of sincerity in the way we’re trying to support Kikuchi
Why is everyone in a rush to get rid of Dvo? He’s legit a good centre and he takes a lot of pressure off of Dach to get better right away. He’s the only guy who we’d be able to trust with defensive zone face offs. He’s just reliable and he’s on a decent contract
