@skinnyprinsess
I think the problem with edtt is the lack of context, most accounts package eds into these cutesy videos without showing the reality of an ed, if you scroll on most edtt accounts there will be a lot of “ugly reality” posts because we’re comfortable posting that in this community.
you all have your right to freedom of speech, but imo beauty is subjective and if you find both bodies beautiful, i don't have a problem with that. my thread is fatphobic, don't engage with it if you don't want to see that content.
@skinnypixie666
Notice how body positivity is being pushed in western media more so than in other countries? I don’t have a ton of examples but for one in France there’s a disclaimer in any advertisement for food. No company cares about how confident you are…
i feel like its a very harmful myth on all these recovery accounts that you have to gain massive amounts of weight because that only discourages people and makes it more scary for them
@Snarp1
omg the dumb questions are the best posts like "guys would sparkling water break my fast 🥺" or "would a hot chocolate break my fast" as if they didn't look up Twitter on a search engine
@zombecryoverlod
what did she achieve with this video? did she think people were going to watch it and recover? we all know the proana content makes no sense but we still consume it...😭😭

Ok mr wet ass cheek, i said obese wasn't elegant not normal size like Marilyn...she was definitely not midsize, she was average weight and she was beautiful. There's nothing elegant about being unhealthy.
Idk if anyone else noticed this but it feels like there’s only two sides of the spectrum where you’re either pro ana or fighting against that by eating 6 crumbl cookies a day- I haven’t seen a normal person eating online in so long (but that could just be what I’m watching)
Deleted my thread, sorry if anyone liked it but it made its way to normaltwt and I seriously don't want to wake up to death threats lmao, if I ever do something similar I would be more careful about where I post it
@pinkcaloriesss
I understand your point and that's it's valid because there definitely are instances of it but I just wanted to make it clear that it wasn't my intent at all ❤️ take care

@Peachy__dreamer
Give me one good reason why we should be promoting obesity…body positivity should be about things you can’t change. Everyone can lose weight healthily. Yes there are disorders which lead to obesity but wouldn’t that be promoting EDs 🤨
@fatspoana
My grandma was just telling me how grateful she was I still read because there's been all these news reports about kids forgetting how to READ 😭😭
@buggybuggaa
correct me if im wrong but the three meal system was derived by westerners observing other people (forgot which people) and isn't an accurate reflection of intuitive eating, so people don't listen to when they actually feel hunger

@pinkcaloriesss
bro its just not that deep, i'm not saying the points they're making are invalid because there are racists on this app, but I'm not one of them and i'm not tolerating that accusation...I wasn't paying attention to the colour of people's skin when choosing the images, period
@restandreg
no actually and the fats of edtwt who overeat shamelessly and scrutinise anyone who eats normally "thats not a meal 🥺" i am about to nuke your house
@Snarp1
here's one i found for 2022 but no one has made a good one for 2024, usually they have more "incidents" on them like the girl swallowing her goldfish, blood sink (that was recent), etc
