I’ve never subscribed to the idea of my wife doing hard labour because she’s ‘umakoti’. I work too damn hard for her to not live a soft life. I will pull up with a team of helpers if need be. Kodwa guys, the idea of black women suffering to prove their worth needs to end.

Thokoza, I’ve been meaning to write a short thread on some common ideas in African Spirituality which, in my opinion, are myths and misconceptions - most them being tied to fear tactics. So let’s go.

A woman bringing the conversation of marriage and family is not her applying pressure. We all have the right to know we’re on the same page and no ones time is being wasted. And if you feel it is pressure then perhaps you should let her find someone who will feel otherwise.

Your ancestors are more concerned about your mental health than you think. Sometimes things seem stagnant because they can see you’re mentally not okay and would like you to take two mins to attend to yourself.

Your clientele is a reflection of the kind of people you attract. If 70% of people coming to her bafuna ukuganga then that tells you what kind of energy/vibe she gives off. It’s simple as that. The people who come to you show you who you truly are.

If you can understand how genetic illness and predispositions work medically, then you can understand how the same can apply spiritually. You look, walk, talk and think like you’re great grandfather - yet you’re surprised when you have the same gifts he had?

Easy, most likely isicitho. Get some sea water or rough salt. Steam and bath for 3 days and you’re all good. ## Isicitho is as common as the common cold. No need to for a healer you can treat this yourself

I’m 💯 for protecting your space and energy. Peoples hearts are dark and evil. Keeping yourself and your children away from such is important.

During the reunion and final episode of #MinaNaweHouse things get heated when @somizi asks Manana and Sido are asked if it’s only just them two in the relationship.

@Mmontle_Metsi No one is blaming women. I’m saying how can one knowingly be okay with dating a deadbeat. That’s it. Where is the blame here ? Simple comprehension. 💀

Beautiful and blessed evening. Let’s remember that the most NB part of witchcraft is a dark and evil heart. It fuels the intent. And sometimes can be enough on its own. Those people who give you bad vibes, weird energies - steer clear of them. Even if they’re family.

There’s a lot of scare tactics being used in this space and this thread is aimed at stimulating conversations whilst putting people are ease and calming them down. This is a science. And not everything can 100% bad 100% of the time. Maybe we should have a spaces on this

Thokoza, We should never confuse spiritual malnourishment for a calling/being gifted. There is nothing wrong with a home that has a praying and church culture - in fact I encourage it. But is this used to replace/silence/reject idlozi? (Short Thread)
