Honda CB350 sells ~4,000/month. Classic 350? ~7x that. But the new Honda CB350 (no suffix variant) is here at ~₹30k less than the REC350 with the most inspired of colours. Problem solved I’m sure.

As good a day as any to remind you that DOT certification on helmets isn’t of much value in India. It’s a self-certification format that’s a bit inferior to ISI. What you should really get is a helmet with ISI (legal) & ECE (third-party tested, 22.06 is ideal) certifications.

All phone calls I get that aren’t from contacts is spam. ALL. ~12-15/day. Banks aside, all SMS’ spam! WhatsApp block list growing nicely too. DND is on. But @TRAI is not on the ball on spam calls AT ALL. @reliancejio / @airtelindia both in use. Both useless at spam protection.

No interior photos I can find. 1 prototype shown. Included charger can’t charge to full overnight. Rest of spec appears fine. No one’s driven one AFAIK, but bookings have started. EV guys: you’re axing the branch you’re sitting on. Defying common sense isn’t a sales strategy.

It’s official. If you’ve been at a standstill with your motorcycle engine revving at the limiter, per minute you lose 12.5 points off your IQ & your hearing loss is 0.5%. That means in time, you’ll be able to hear but it won’t matter.

Here's a tip you can use. When you see a new vehicle's footage being sped up in the promos? Usually means it's not fast enough to look impressive. Bonus tip: When you hear the vehicle's soundtrack in the clip and it sounds like a mid-90s Fireblade? It doesn't sound impressive.

Holding a trembling mindlessly scared dog for an entire day at 13 — and I did that for many years after that — ended my fascination for firecrackers. Arti and I would burn one phuljhari each to mark the festival of light. And that’s what I do today. Just the one. It’s enough.

Seems like the Indian motorcycles news over the past few days is: one bike’s been repainted. This one may/not come to India. Another’s now exported to a country. This one definitely made in India. Thats more or less it.
