We've set up our significant incident room to coordinate Shropshire's multi-agency response to #StormEunice Thankfully we have not had to attend any serious incidents as a result of the storm at this time. We hope this continues to be the case. #StaySafe #Prepared #partnership

Yesterday we worked with @sathNHS @WMerciaPolice as part of #ExRainbow , testing emergency service response to a pretend incident of a derailed train and subsequent contamination of passengers. A great exercise with valuable learning and teamwork!

Anyone who is affected by the power outage in Prees is welcome at @PreesFire_SFRS 6pm-8pm this evening to use the facilities, for example to get hot water, charge devices or use the microwave etc. Some of our on call crew will be on site and we'd like help anyway we can.

Crews from Shrewsbury, Baschurch and Minsterly with the Swift Water Rescue Team, rescued a man from the River Severn today. He was giving CPR by firefighters, ambulance, critical care paramedics and police colleagues and was then taken to hospital.
