Day 18 of
#100DaysOfCode
It took me some 5 days to build this fully responsive.
idk if I'm slow or if I need more practice.
Honest feedback/review is most appreciated.
I need to be more consistent now, last few days have been pretty slow for me :,)
starting today im publicly committing to take up
#100DaysOfCode
challenge.
I truly wish that I can stick throughout the course of 100 days and make each day count.
wish me luck guys :')
Day 4 of
#100DaysOfCode
Today I spent most of the time into perfecting my project but, tbh I have come to make my peace with the fact that it will never be complete in my eyes lol
It took me a couple of days and excruciating patience to finish this! lmk your honest feedback :))
I am thinking of taking a freelance frontend project. Since I have fair experience with react now may be working on a real-life project would take it to newer heights. If anyone of you is looking to get a website done or have projects where you think I can add value, pls lmk!!
Hello, i hope you all are doing good!!
I took an extended break, and also I failed 100daysofcode bec of health and other personal stuff but, I've decided to start again with the intention of getting to the finish line this time.
my plan for the next 100days look like 👇
i might get a lot hate for this but, do you think asking for ppl to follow you to gain followers is okay? I see so many ppl here crazily wanting to increase their follower count. while I understand the motive to reach a wider audience, idt if that's a resort to fall back to.
Day 29 of
#100daysofcode
Started working on a new project to understand Redux toolkit better (ppl who have worked with react query and createApi both, which one do you find better?)
Did few questions on leetcode
Day 1-5
#100DaysOfCode
,
Since im taking everything slow atm, I finished the basics of Django.
Also, I started feeling rusty with react, so I decided to build a small project using React and Tailwind. Already done with routing and nav.
Inspiration from
@frontendmentor
let's face the elephant in the room
How many of you contribute to open source? and, most importantly, how do you find repos to commit to. I have been having a hard time navigating through this. It's intimidating for the least 😭
Im thinking to start
#100daysofcode
challenge bec I have become really inconsistent with managing work and coding. Hopefully this will help me gain momentum. What do you guys do to remain consistent?
hey guys, im back from the most dreadful hiatus. I was really finding it difficult to keep up with maintaining an online presence and truth be told, there were days when I was only left with a bitter taste at seeing others who were doing so much better than I was.
(1/3)
im going to resume my dsa journey with hopefully no breaks now. putting it out here so that I feel more accountable.
I know arrays, ll, stacks, queues and trees. Maybe, i will do a quick revision of these data structures and focus on solving ques exhibiting patterns.
Day 31 of
#100daysofcode
over to the few last sprints of the project, I picked to learn more about redux. I am finally
starting to understand redux and for what it's worth I actually liked how manageable it makes the code.
Other than that, revised some DSA bits
For anyone learning react and is comfortable with hindi, I would highly highly recommend to follow the react series by
@Hiteshdotcom
sir. I have been working with react for the past few months but, the way he goes into the nitty gritties of react is truly exceptional.
Day 35 of
#100DaysOfCode
(since Im picking up from where i left off)
-did some leetcoding on stacks ds.
-applied to entry level dev roles (follow-up rate is slim to zero tho)
-studied react design patterns
(layout components)
Day 28 of
#100DaysOfCode
learned about redux and redux toolkit
skimmed thru my notes to revise js
applied to entry level front end dev positions.
started a new project in react
Day 24-26 of
#100daysofcode
These days, im trying to get better at DSA and problem-solving skills in general.
I enrolled in this course called Algorithms Part 1.
I hope it can help me in getting better at understanding algorithms🤞
ps: it is tougher than i thought :,)
Day 27 of
#100DaysOfCode
Today I spent most of my day in refactoring an old project, and practicing tailwind css.
I was also looking out for projects to contribute but, no luck so far 👀
only 22" inches dual screens, dedicated work setup with gaming chair, mechanical keyboard, and rgb lighting enhancing the immersive experience can fix me now
what most ppl don't talk about is how challenging it is to force our mind and body to get to work after a long break. It's almost feels like starting from ground zero.
@maybeshalinii
a small suggestion, since create react app is deprecated and is no longer maintained by react team using vite or a build tool is the best option. the set up is as simple as this. nonetheless, looking forward to learning and growing together 🚀✨
Day 3 pf
#100DaysOfCode
I worked on tying the few loose ends of my recent weather app project but, for some reason I overlooked a bug. final reveal tomorrow lol
For the rest, I read on useContext, useRefs and react router.
Hopefully I can be more productive tomorrow!
I think binary search is the most important concept to conquer when it comes to solving DSA questions.
The way it is so versatile that I often cannot even fathom using BS in a ques, and yet there is always a sol using binary search
Day 2 of
#100DaysOfCode
Today's
@iCodeThis
challenge was fairly easy, hence I decided to use Tailwind CSS to complete this. It was my first time working with tailwind.
Other than that, I solved leetcode qotd, and
learned about useContext hook in react
started working on a weather app, and I realised how important it is to write clean codes even if it's a personal project.
also, it is only when you start to build stuff on your own, you are exposed to all the knowledge gaps.
Build & Learn✨
lmk what additions I should make
Day 8 of
#100DaysOfCode
implemented a slider functionality as today's
@iCodeThis
challenge.
Did questions on string manipulation in js for practice
->Anagram
->Flattening an array
->Palindrome
Hello ppl,
for the past few days, I wasn't able to code even for an hour, my thoughts were cloudy, and my health hit the newest low. Hoping to get myself out of this drag soon. Meanwhile, i attempted today's
@iCodeThis
challenge. :)
Day 7 of
#100DaysOfCode
, In the past few days, I worked on my JS skills and learned more about different react hooks. I'm thinking of writing a blog on the same.
Today I finished
@iCodeThis
challenge using date obj and solved a few DSA ques using js.
It's been so long since I picked up on a new book which has nothing to do w programming! I remember times when I would finish reading 3 books in a week.
what will be your top recommendations?📖
Is it just w me that as soon as I see a dsa problem I start to think the most optimal approach? im sure it's bad practice but i wouldn't know any differently
After taking into consideration all the suggestions I recieve, this is what I could achieve today..
There's still alot more tweaks and adjustments to make.
Also, i have to learn to write better code :')
tell me if this is an upgrade or I should get back to basics lol
okay idk if I sound stupid asking this but does manifestation really work? has it for any of you guys? For, I have always believed in hard-work meeting opportunities. and the only other factory playing role is luck.
Day 12 of
#100DaysOfCode
I am ready to get slandered bec I ain't no good at designing but, I want to improve and hence, please comment with honest feedback for
my pet project (pun intended lol)
ps: it is fully functional, I'm yet to style other pages
Let's talk about combinators in CSS.
Combinators specify how HTML elements are related, allowing selective styling. They're essential in CSS selectors for targeting elements based on their document structure relationships.
