Here is a controversial take. I never enjoyed writing CSS. Bootstrap made it bearable. Then comes @tailwindcss . Now I can get the job done faster. It’s something that is foundational, optimized and gets the job done faster. I even recommend it to beginners.

Building your product on Nextjs looks so fun and easy, deploy it on Vercel and job done. But once you move to real usage (out of free tier), 5000$ monthly bill shouldn’t surprise you. Serverless functions can be costly and nextjs fires them like anything.
