Actual organizers: Come, join us! We’ll be explaining who we are and what we do at the meeting. Let’s meet for coffee. Tell me about yourself!
That one tweet: You’re fundamentally incapable of doing this, have a nice life.
Hard to express the hurt, rage and sadness I feel as a Jewish person with
@AIPAC
spending a million to boost a pro-trump Republican at the expense of a talented Black woman. Our people deserve so so much better.
Some professional news 🥰
Today's my first day
@WorkingFamilies
Mid-Atlantic as Campaign Services Director
We're going to make sure that progressive candidates have access to best in class organizing tools, from school board to statewide!
wondering what dems would accomplish if they had put half as much energy into whipping votes for BBB as they’re putting into trying to defeat
@JCisnerosTX
Hello 😊 Two awesome roles at wfp, you get to work with me to support progressive campaigns with your organizing skills! DM me with questions if you have them, always happy to jump on the phone
NEW: PA Dem whip encouraged some members to vote to hold Philly DA Larry Krasner in contempt earlier this month. Measure is part of ongoing state leg efforts to impeach him <1 yr after his reelection, led by GOP rep leading midterm campaign efforts
Thinking about the thousands of Philadelphians we’ve talked to at
@WorkingFamilies
with major home repair needs - sky high heating bills, homes dangerously congested with space heaters, that will benefit from
@SenatorSaval
’s Whole-Homes Repairs Act
Crying about the 15,000+ volunteers who signed up to text/phone bank with
@PAStandsUp
for the general election.
When we win PA tomorrow, you guys are the reason.
We’re out here to let Harrisburg know these impeachment hearings are a sham!! Philly voted for DA Krasner and they will not overturn the will of the people!

he is now carrying 6 cups of ice cream around the house saying "what a bounty, what a harvest"
protest and riot and organize and build political power and flip tables and pack the court and buy plan c and fund providers and vote them out vote them all out every last incompetent and hateful one of them

About 3 months ago I threw all of my belongings into two suitcases and drove down with my mom to a state I’d never been to to work for
@ewarren
. It’s now 4 days to the Iowa caucus and I couldn’t be prouder to work for the smartest, kindest, best candidate for President.
Decision Desk HQ projects that
@JoeBiden
has won Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral college votes for a total of 273.
Joe Biden has been elected the 46th President of the United States of America.
Race called at 11-06 08:50 AM EST
All Results:
The PA GOP's refusal to seat
@SenatorBrewster
is deeply connected with the violent insurrection we saw in DC yesterday.
The Rs aren't even pretending to care about democracy anymore. We need to fight back.
#SeatBrewster
now.
One of the best things that organizing has taught me is that persistently (kindly) following up with people doesn’t make you annoying, it makes you effective!
THIS COULD BE YOU!
"Just had a good call with a woman who is a first-time voter, but didn't know where her polling place was. Able to provide her with that. Very helpful."
"Mr. Kenyatta is the only one of the three who says he would support a moratorium on new fracking sites. He also supports an end to tax breaks for oil, gas, and coal producers in the state."
i don't know what to say about this other than thank you to PWPPI. i certainly would not be working for
@SCforWarren
or be looking for opportunities to make the world better without the influence of Andy, Ben and others.
So many of us have not just been radicalized by "the issues" (health care/war/recession/climate etc), but by the frequent pointless unforced errors of the democratic party
lots of better dunks than this, but it's a good example of the way that the self care dialogue seeks to create individual responses to collective problems
Psaki on voting rights bills failing: "My advice to everyone out there who's frustrated, sad, angry, pissed off, feel those emotions, go to a kickboxing class, have a margarita, do whatever you need to do this weekend, and then wake up on Monday morning, we gotta keep fighting."
it really hurt me to see how a Jewish publication, claiming to speak for us, continued to pile on bad faith attacks against the inimitable
@SummerForPA
happy to see some push back as we attempt to build relationships of solidarity & shared struggle
@jblumgart
different city, but Brian Kirkland is losing in Chester. His uncle is the mayor and served in the state house for a long time.
don't know much about his challenger, but she was endorsed by the Working Families Party
Hi! i'm weeks away from my 2 year anniversary at
@PAWorkFamilies
and it's been the most fun, important work I can imagine to help build a political party that is actually for all of US.

Senate Republicans are trying to sneak their extreme anti-abortion constitutional amendment through. Tell your State Senator to stop this legislation and protect abortion rights:

one of the interesting differences between organizing/mvmt culture and startup culture is startups emphasize "no one believed in me but i did it any way, screw them" narratives
organizing teaches you that building trust and collabing w/ others is a strength not a weakness
@nikillinit
This is such an interesting tweet. Have you considered the possibility that one of the "problems" they wanted to solve more than the other?
if you intentionally hide you've tested positive for COVID from JUST the Democrats you work with, putting them + their families at risk, you're not pro-life
@zbloom89
@JoePostingg
lots of people's family members do harmful things to them directly outside of their politics, and people don't always cut off those folks! family and love and obligation are complicated
if there is literally anything that the executive branch of our government should be able to do, it's make decisions about public health / federal transportation
seeing everyone's home teaching set ups makes me sad for the inequities kids are going to experience this year. public school was never equal, but some kids get paid 1:1 private tutor/aesthetic learning space
@jackcalifano
Also… I think people expect there to be more to it inside infrastructure-wise. Systems of advancing candidates etc. there’s $ and the name and not much else
Weird no fun tweet, but everyone assuming that AP US history will actually talk about the rise of white nationalism and political violence in this country is taking a lot of shit for granted
One of the reasons Dems lost state leg races: While campaigns raised a record amount of money, most of it came wayyyy too late.
I'm a broken record on this: What we fund in 2021 determines what we can win in 2022.
