SCOOP: iOS 18 will let you lock entire apps behind Face ID, multiple sources told me. I imagine this feature will also work with Touch ID/passcode. No more having to use Screen Time or Shortcuts workarounds.

Itโ€™s a different company. The techโ€™s still amazing & I respect the incredible craft going into this thing. But I think people feel the lack of the above & acknowledging it isnโ€™t being a hater so much as itโ€™s being nostalgic for a, dare I say, more altruistic-feeling era of Apple.
