Went on actual play bad tilt for the first time in over 10 years yesterday. Thought it couldnt happen to me. My A game in PLO is pretty rough to begin with, but this was real ugly. Won every hand and ran my 70bb stack into 1000bb. Felt amazing. Now I understand the appeal.

So there's a non pro in San Diego that turns 1 card face up when he's stuck. I decided it wasn't fair and "invented" 1 up PLO which is just PLO with a door card. Have mix plaque for it and everything. Fun game, kinda popular. Anyway, we are playing 5 card 2 up 3 down now

Just used an 80 cent consumable on accident in Pokemon Go and I can't breathe. Meanwhile next time I play poker I'm sure I'll bluff 4k+ off in a hand when I don't have the right hand to bluff with or even expect to get a fold and feel fine.

I've heard 2 hand histories so far today from last night. Both players were astonished how bad their opponent played in a hu pot and were sure they played perfect. It was the same hand. Poker isnt dead yet.

10/20 limit home game 2008 or earlier. Secondhand story. The game is called "hold your dick". It's holdem, but on the river, you throw away one of your cards and have only 1 card left to make your best 5 card hand using your 1 card and the 5 community cards.

First time playing NL in ~15 months. Took the worst equity beat I've ever taken all in. Game broke shortly after. Tilt drove to a PLO game I wouldn't have gone to otherwise. Ran hotter than a thousand molten suns and won much more than I lost in NL Bring on some more 0.4 outters

A big pot gets built with one player having ace high and @normmacdonald having JJ. They get to the river and discard, at which point Norm realizes his mistake with his now J high. Norm laughs at himself and says "well, that's the craziest hand of 'hold your dick' I've ever seen!"

Can't remember the last time I booked a decent win in poker. Weird cuz I'm playing really good. For example, yesterday a drunk guy insulted my female friend, so I white knighted by getting 300bb in on AQ5r with KQ and running it once. I got there, so it means I played good.

Just watched my first bit of televised nlhe tournament since the main event. When I started watching, a player holding ace high was facing a large river bet. 5 minutes later he was still in the tank. 5 minutes later...maybe he's still tanking? I don't know. I turned it off.

There should be a hu nlhe poker variant where player A knows all the hole cards and player B knows that player A knows them. But player A doesnt know that player B knows player A knows all the hole cards. I suspect play would roughly resemble high stakes limit holdem in 2007

Went to a cash in, cash out game tonight. Started a load of laundry when I got home that included the pants I wore. Panicked when I saw my car keys at the bottom of the washer, thinking I had washed my cash. Then I remembered I went broke. At least my rubber band is clean now.

90 minutes later the game broke and I was winning 18k (like I said, it was a pretty good game). Two days later, the credit card debt I had for the first and only time in my life was gone and I was playing 50 cent or 1 dollar big blind again and all was right in the world

Just potted turn with KTT2 and diamonds on 9763dd. River 9 and I bluffed with no pair for 2/3 pot and got raised. Then I remembered that when you have two tens in your hand on 99763 that's actually an overpair so I called and won. Call me Patrik antonius from now on please
