10 years ago, I was on teaching placement with a “mentor” who broke my confidence and used to say the most horrible things. 6 years ago, I interviewed and got my teaching job. Today, I’m acting deputy head, SENCO and class teacher. 💜

My fiancé just took the cat that’s been hanging around to the vet, scanned, and it has a microchip. It has been missing for a year and we’ve just managed to reunite it with its owners, who thought it was just missing and gone forever. 🥺

One of my class has made leaps and bounds of progress in their reading. Extremely reluctant reader, hates reading and everything to do with it. Recently been on cloud 9, and loving reading. Told them they smashed the paper today. The response? “I can’t have, I didn’t finish it”💔
