For all the talk about how #NeverTrump failed to understand the feelings of the conservative base, it’s also true that the base has largely failed to understand #NeverTrump . What they dismissed as pearl clutching moralism was often just knowledge that he’s a dishonest person.

The use of Big Eva is so weird. Around 2016 I noticed a guy who since then has become firmly self-established as dissident right calling Mere O/Jake “Big Eva” on Twitter. He had himself been published on Mere O quite a number of times including like a couple of weeks earlier.
