Goodness me, what beauties Benedict and Lethabo are. Their faces are being seen around the world and we can celebrate their existence amid your pain. To all those commenting who have also lost a child, I'm so very, very sorry, but also grateful that you shared them with us. x
@charlotteukcity
I agree. It’s been a very, very clever campaign. Given what’s at stake and the return of Farage, the Lib Dems would have been drowned out in all the chaos and noise.
@SafferTheGaffer
That’s awful, Saffron, especially the lack of help you got. I just can’t get my head around the fact that people think it’s acceptable to do nothing!
@NadineDorries
What would your reply have been to the Johnson honesty question? The fact that no one in the audience raised a hand to the question about trust in politicians is down to you and your hero.
@celticsmurf1888
@Eleanor_08_11
There isn't, though. Once your brain stem is dead, there is zero chance of recovery. His brain is actually decaying so much that it's being squeezed from his skull via a tiny opening onto his spinal cord (known as proning). It's time to let him rest now.
@samuelcwhart
Being represented. I live alone with my dog and don’t have children. It’s really hard sometimes when all you see on the TV in shows and adverts are families living busy lives. If I’m not in a great mood, it makes me feel that I’ve failed in life.
@richardosefton
I don’t either. However, I don’t think they can be “defeated” with facts or logic. The reality is that they use emotion to speak to those who feel neglected/ignored, promising them that they are heard, being listened to and their feelings are legitimate.
@MarcDavenant
Absolutely this. Hence comments from potential Reform voters like “he’s one of us” and “he tells it like it is”. It’s also reflected in how he is frequently referred to as “Nigel”, rather like we had with “Boris”.

Michael Schumacher has brain damage, not brain stem death. His brain and other organs are not decomposing; his brain is not coning, i.e., unlike Archie, his brain is not being forced out of his skull onto his spine, due to the pressure on it from cell death/swelling.
@emmahoneybone
I’m so sorry for your terrible loss. I’m not going to pretend I have any clue about how you’re feeling or what you’re going through. From afar, though, you’re heroic for how you helped Mike to have the best end possible. Howl at wind for what you’ve lost and take it day by day. X
@OnlySteve68
@BarristerSecret
My beliefs about a client’s guilt are irrelevant. It’s for the jury to determine that after hearing the evidence. If a client tells you they’re guilty but doesn’t plead so, I can’t mislead the court. So, I could test the prosecution’s case, but not suggest the client is innocent
@emmahoneybone
I’m so, so sorry, Emma. What is indisputable is the depth of your love and the level of your devotion. Through the care you are giving him, M knows these things to be true and carries this with him as he comes to the end of his journey. X
@andreajenkyns
How arrogant and entitled are you? To think that you can foist another leader on the electorate without a general election is utterly disgraceful.

She took quite a long break when he was first ill. She subsequently decided to do the book/documentaries when she realised the money issues she was facing. She also had to pay huge amounts converting their house before he could come home.
This is to honour Mike A. after his death from a glioblastoma brain tumour. As requested, Emma, this is my water being drunk for Mike and, as importantly, you.

@tipAIM1
They don't own him. He has rights of his own and has had his own representation, totally independent of the parents or the hospital, throughout the legal proceedings. FWIW, his own representative believes he is, effectively, dead and should be taken off life support.
To think that, knowing it was school photo day, my parents thought it was okay to send me in with a haircut that looks like it was achieved by letting the cat chew on it! 🤣😆
I have finally decided to get on X.
There is a new era in politics and much of importance to be debated, particularly in respect of our relationship with our European neighbours.
Please do follow.

It drives me bloody crazy and I’m astonished that Mr Integrity used this line. It’s our job! What about doctors? Should they only treat nice people?
@G0ADM
@DrJessTaylor
I’m not speaking for Dr Taylor, but my view is that she is our problem. She was born, brought up, groomed and radicalised here. Why should Syria have to be responsible for her?

How about you give him a chance? You would have been one of those fans chanting for Alex Ferguson to leave before he started winning.

Hear, hear. Reform is appealing to the emotions of those who feel neglected and ignored. You aren’t going to overcome that with intellectual arguments.
@lincs67

He is not lying. There is a code of conduct that is not only clear, but also strict. As for money over country, you clearly have no idea how low legal aid rates are.

What has the CLC actually achieved in the cases it has been involved in? It has a campaigning agenda that is all about its own interests and not those of the people it purports to represent.
@hm_hashi
I don’t actually think it’s as simple as arguments and logic. He cynically appeals to the emotions and fears of those who feel overlooked and ignored. As with Trump, the sense that he “gets them” beats logic every time. PS, it’s funny!

No. He said that her behaviour over a number of years when she was drunk explained the cumulative impact on her husband that caused him to snap.
"We are going to Dallas, we are going to Houston. We are going to have a little fun today. Thank you very much," President Trump says as he head to Texas to meet with the families of Santa Fe school shooting victims

It’s absolutely pathetic, Gerard. Johnson is utterly incapable of telling the truth about anything, yet is squealing away as if integrity is his middle name.

No, he did not “take legal action”. He was instructed by a solicitor to represent a client who was taking action. His job was to provide representation whenever instructed. Further, barristers are subject to a rule whereby they can’t refuse a brief because they disagree with it.
@centroFJ
Nonsense! Do you really believe the Qataris would’ve put in place the structure INEOS has? We’ve spent plenty on big name players chasing money & not performing. I love seeing young players coming through, which wouldn’t happen if we were spraying money around. Give it time!
I’ve just watched Jonathan Gullis as a panel guest on Sky News. He’s probably after work, but he was surprisingly conciliatory and praised some Labour policies! He was a complete and utter prat in his former role, so it’s very unsettling to see him acting otherwise!
#gullis
How totally bizarre. I’m watching a live rally being given by Biden. His voice is strong, he’s on top of the facts, speaking fluently, not reading a script and very impressive!

Even if Greenwood isn’t charged, he won’t be back. The tape recording has ended it. There’s, rightly, no way that sponsors would want any association with the person he’s revealed himself to be on the tape.
