@cuttinHedge MA’AM. FIRST OF ALL, do not hun me. Secondly, junior doctors are NOT the only ones complaining. As a matter of fact, the doctors most affected currently are medical officers who are not junior staff. If you listened to the segment, consultants also had issues.

What’s crazy to me is all the people I see coming on here to fix their fingers to say we should just accept the 2.5% increase. I don’t see less deductions from my salary though. As a matter of fact, my NIS deduction doubled and inflation continues to apply 1/2

While we’re at it, let’s also talk about how grossly underpaid doctors in this country are. Our base salaries are nowhere near this and we work in excess of 80 hours per week 🙂

It’s a 7 day job per week job that pays the New York city minimum wage per hour. Therefore, most MPs work part time in this role as they must supplement this income with other sources in order to take care of themselves and their families.
