got the news yesterday that they got all the cancer in my double mastectomy and didn’t find any more in the lymph node they removed. knowing my BRCA status allowed me to be proactive and get regular mammograms and sonograms to catch my cancer early, and i’m so thankful.

found out i had breast cancer a year ago today! since then i’ve had a double mastectomy and hours (and hours) of physical therapy for pain from cording. i still feel very turned upside-down and this year is mostly a foggy blur tbh but i’m alive and cancer-free now, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
