IMO: We read a lot about players who are not ALL IN; I think coaches who only want to coach during the season create just as many issues.

My advice to new/young coaches on here - follow guys like @slade248 who will follow you back and engage with you vs following college guys with 22K followers who rarely post and won't follow back. There are quite a number of great coaches who will be glad to engage.

Most coaches can talk scheme and draw up a defense; it's those that can TEACH the A.S.K.A. and improve football IQ that get the most out of their teams/athletes. Plays are won/lost before the ball is ever snapped.

One month ago today, I had a "warning" stroke. After 30 hours in the hospital, I was released. 4 hours later, a wonderful family lost their father. He was only a few years older than me. Don't ignore warning signs - take care of yourselves.

I read an interesting quote: it said the biggest thing you can control is How you talk to yourself. I never thought of that, but to me, that’s pretty powerful. Inside your head can be a dangerous place to stay for too long!
